non-DIS vacation planning

I'm interested in time share renting for a non-Disney vacation. Anyone know any reputable sites? I used David's for our WDW vacation 3 years ago and loved the experience. Don't know who to trust for something non-Disney.

Why not rent a condo from the Condo office?
Lots in Destin FL-we do this every summer (they are owned by someone with their furniture-but rent out most of the year)

We've used Sky Auction several times in the past. Never had any issues.

Why not just rent a place directly from the owner. You can find lots on options on Homeaway.com
