noise level

Hi there,

With cars driving up to the sites and parking at each camp site, what is the noise level like? I'm curious both about nighttime noise and daytime noise (in case we want to nap, which hasn't happened before, but you never know).

Hi,

We have found FW to be quit peaceful, day and night. There are not alot of cars driving around the campground. Sometimes, depending on the location of your site, you will hear busses. Most people choose to use the golfgart to travel around FW. (LOTS of fun!) Or bicycles.

I agree. It is very quiet and peaceful. You do sometimes hear the busses, but knowing where they will take you makes it not at all annoying!

It is very peaceful excpet for spring break . We have been other holidays and they were quiet and relaxing.

Hi,

It really isn't as noisey as you would think it would be as Disney doesn't allow you to drive your car around the campground. So, if your in your car your either coming or going and with the complimentary transportation and bikes etc. most folks don't come and go very often in cars. Some noise contributers that you may find are:

Folks who rent or bring gas driven motored golf carts (which are illegal at the campground.) Dinsey doesn't rent gas carts because of the noise factor theirs are electric.

Children playing football or other games in the loop's street in front of their site. Which doesn't usually last long as most families are rushing around to the parks or to dinner etc.

The loud booms from the fireworks at night-but, hey what other campground do you get to hear that noise at and it doen't last long.

And, I am sure you'll hear other little tid bits of noise from other sources, but I believe you'll find it as peacful and tranquil that my husband and I do.
