Is this a private party or can anyone join? :) (or maybe it's a pirate party?!pirate:)
Dh and I will also be on this cruise with you. We are leave the 2 DD's at home with grandma and grandpa.:banana: One will be finishing up gr 8 and the other is in high school, just to hard to miss two weeks.;)

We would love to join the FE and the secret Mickey. Add us to the list please.

Can't wait for next year to come. I'm so looking forward to relaxing on a deck chair reading a book waiting for my refreshed drink to arrive. Ah, bliss.

In the meantime, I get to hit WDW in 6 weeks - yippee.

Kristi

This thread has been very quiet :guilty:

Your right there has been no activity on this thread...... According to DW were celebrating the 365 mark coming up (if I'm invited:confused3)
There seems to be alot of famillies cruising the EBTA, its almost a year away, lets get this thread going.
Where is everyone? Time to check in and hello

Alex

This thread has been very quiet :guilty:

A few of us are busy on other threads... we are cruising before then... I'm sure it will get more busy...

I have to master list almost ready to post then as I go on, I'll PM people to see if they are still going and see if we can get this one moving... :thumbsup2

We're still going, just been super busy. Both working full-time, Lionel finishing up a degree, me writing freelance AND working an occasional weekend job. If I have time to breathe, it's a good day!

The good news is, this is my last weekend at the weekend job. So I should be a bit more active here in the coming weeks, months and year! Hope everyone is well. :goodvibes

The thread for my Sept 08 cruise is pretty quiet too. I think lots of folks are focusing on their spring/summer activities. My May vacation doesn't take a lot of planning. It's a trip to Chicago to play with big sister and cruise pals and since I lived there for 10 years (about 30 years ago!) and have visited often I know what I want to see and do. Mostly I just have to concentrate on saving up the spending money!

.

Yeah, I know I rarely have time to check the boards, let alone post. I'm graduating from my current college this semester, transferring to a college out-of-state in the fall, and this summer I have almost every week booked with something very important (either state competition, National Exploring Academy, etc.) that I have to either train or prepare for... it's insane!

But having something like this cruise to look forward to... it's brilliant. :goodvibes

My wife and I will be joining the group as well, traveling with my sister (dizmomof2) and we will be leaving the kids behind as well with the grandparents!

:cool1: Welcome! :cool1:

Looks like will have quite a gang of 'adults only' on this cruise...hope we don't terrorize the neighborhood! :lmao:

No worries! If you feel home sick or like your having to much fun, we'll be glad to help you out and lend you our kids:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Were travelling with our DD's 14 and 2 (at time of sailing, probably wont see much of the 14 year old since she's planning on living in the stack).
It sounds like everyone has cruised before here. This will be our third (could be our 4th since were trying to book a cruise right now for Oct, but looks like it might be with Carnival).

Hi Everyone,

We are currently booked on the EBTA and CAN'T wait! Now we just need to figure out how to pay the balance! ;)

We are:
Eleasa
DH Jim
DS Raine who will be 8 at the time of this cruise.
We live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. But for the time being we will be flying out of Montreal, Quebec.

This will be my 4th cruise and Im still recovering from a bad cruise experience in January (not Disney). 7 day Caribbean cruise (with my siblings and Mother to celebrate her 80th B-day)........with NO luggage. Then it took 26 hours to get home from San Juan. The luggage finally arrived home 2 days after we did.

For Jim and Raine, this will be their 2nd cruise. My niece got married on an Alaskan cruise in May 2007. Raine absolutely loved it and continues to ask when we are going on another. We haven't told him about this cruise yet, but boy I cannot wait to see his face! :woohoo:

I have to admit, I have been lurking here for a couple of weeks and I must say, you folks are a wealth of knowledge! You've already answered most of my questions, plus a few I didn't know I had!:flower3:

The only concern I have is the 1 to 25 counselor to child ratio in the Oceaneers Lab. I'd appreciate any comments or experiences with children in around Raine's age bracket of 8.

I look forward to getting to know you all better in the coming year!

Welcome Eleasa!

We live just north of Toronto and will be flying from Pearson. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and trust me your son is the perfect age and will absolutely love it! We have found the counsellors to be fantastic and there has never been a ratio problem (I can't ever remember seeing that many kids to 1 counsellor).
Paying the balance,,,eek, none of us wanna think about that especially us Canadians with the brutal exchange rate right now. Not worry though, its not due until december and all the experts say it should climb back up by then.
It will be worth every penny regardless:banana::banana:

Just checking in. :yay:

I must admit that Facebook has taken a lot of my computer time lately. :surfweb: Still I really enjoy the DIS and want to get to know everyone joining in on this cruise. This will be our 9th DCL cruise and our DS/DDIL's 2nd DCL cruise (plus a Carnival which they did not like).

Looking forward to other Disney trips as well before this cruise such as 5 days in June and at least a week around Thanksgiving. :woohoo:

Thought it might be a good idea to see who's going on this cruise ..... this is my DW Annette (the one NOT in the green suit!) and me (Brack Jr)

This is our DS (Brack III) and his DW (Jennifer).

I am so excited that we have decided on this cruise. Our first Disney cruise was the WB Panama Canal and we loved it.

Dh and I will be onboard with our 3 princesses -- ages 7, 5, and 3. So glad they'll be able to go to the Oceaneer's Club together. The baby was not too happy about going to Flounder's without her sisters last cruise. This time I'll be able to drop them all off and head to bingo in peace, or to Palo's for brunch, or to the spa, or to Quiet Cove, or.... :)

:yay:

don't mind me... I'm updating the first page with names... I'm not done yet - I will give you a heads up to go check in a few days... my printer needs ink so printing the list out just didn't work out...

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the welcome!

What a small world. I grew up in the north end of Toronto. I know Stouffville well. Or at least I used to. Im sure things have changed quite a bit in the last 20-25 years or so! :)

I've got my fingers crossed with exchange rate. I keep checking every day. lol.

Eleasa

We (Isabel and Mike) live just out side Toronto too. In Burlington.

Waiting for the looney to come back to last summer's rates again.
