I LOVE it....and he is SO Lavinous!

.

funny you say this. I mentioned to Paul that I might want to take our Wii with us so he can play it in our room while we are at sea and he totally didn't get it. The Wii on board is always being used in the clubs so he and Molly have never played on board. (and they have ~30 days on the Magic total so far) I think it's his vaca too, so if he likes to play Wii why not...we'll see it's a year from now....

::yes::

I'm so glad we all see this the same way :lmao:

well, we know where Ian and Sukie will be hanging out on sea days... :lmao:

Ian... wasn't Lavinous part of a Gershwin song??? Wait... that was Ravenous... sorry... ;)

Shell.....lavinous is a made up word by Mike Super, the magician. Did you see his act on the WBPC?

.

With Nan, trying to annoy her.

So you'll be on either side of her on the tile loungers??? Make sure you remove the earplugs from her ears or else it's not annoying enough... :headache:

I saw it... I was just humming Gershwin... that's all... ;)

I saw Mike Super's act up close & personal on the WB PC! ....I was in it! He was cruising through the audience looking for volunteers, & I generously offered Karl to him. No, he decided to take me instead. I still have my souvenir rope here somewhere! :cool2: :scared: :cool1:

I've been looking at options for our post-cruise stay, and we're leaning towards spending the week in England. The airfare from Barcelona to London is a lot less expensive than going from Barcelona to Paris, and getting a flight from London to NYC should be easy and not too expensive when we're ready to come home. DH promised that we'll go to France someday on another trip, because I still have a desire to see Paris so badly!

Going to London is what I am thinking about doing as well. It all depends on how much extra it is going to cost me. I'd love a day to explore the British Museum and a chance to finish touring the Tower of London.

Kristi - you should look into the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower. I haven't done this yet, but it is on my list :thumbsup2

What is that? Sounds interesting.

Got a question for ya'll. Have any of you ever had back pain after sitting in the Rainforest loungers for less than 1 hour? Both times I have sat in them, I ended up having my lower left side tighten up really badly. They seem so comfy when I first sit down, but something about them kills my back. I put a robe/towel behind my back the second time and it still hurt. :confused3

Nan is the real expert on the tile loungers. I'm sure she's wade in on this one. The woman has to be forcibly peeled off a tile lounger kicking and screaming.

Oh Nanette - your sage wisdom is needed.

ah yes I'm here to answer you with my sage lounger knowledge....stay off 'em if they hurt your back :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: because that means less of a line for me :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

ok, more serious now. It is a strange slope on that lounger and I do think you need to find a fit or not risk hurting your back on it. Personally, it isn't that comfortable to me either, but it's the heat that I love, so I endure the slight uncomfortableness of the weird slope. Clear as mud huh?:rolleyes1

Fortunately I don't have this problem. I have even fallen asleep on the loungers once or twice and to me the are the most comfortable thing that I ever had the pleasure to relax on apart from my bed. I do cover the lounger in towels though as they are too hot for me without towels so that might have something to do with the fact that I do not get uncomfortable on the loungers.

Wow! I've been out of the loop! We're still going. We are:

Megan (38)
Steve (37)
Emma (7)
Hannah (5)
State Room: need to look up

Papa and Grandma (in separate room)

My immediate family will do the FE and Mickeys......

I heard about this too.. I'm not sure it will work for us though because it's so late at night and we'll have a bunch of kids along.

I'm so glad we're closing in on the 12 month mark- I can't wait!

This is my experience as well. :cloud9:I love the tile beds. :woohoo: Before I had my hip replacement I would spend hours on them to relieve my hip pain.

Hello to all!
We haven't visited the thread in so long. So what's new with everyone???? Everyone chime in! We are quickly approaching the one year anniversary and we are starting to quiver with anticipation:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes
We were wondering if anyone is doing something special to celebrate April 10??
I think we will decorate chocolates with mickey ears (instead of decorating eggs) and bake Giradelli choc. chunk cookies. Any one else got a bright idea???
