Krisann mentioned awhile back that her SM didn't show for the reveal - I would take that into consideration before signing up.

I can imagine it's like having an online conversation with someone and scheduling a date and then they don't show up. There you are with your final gift in hand and no one to give it to.

I believe that once you sign up for these kind of things you also have to commit to this.

All our passports have been sent in and the time line for return is 4-6 weeks. That is a great time line for the cruise BUT I was really hoping to get up to Vancouver for an olympic event. Darn it, I didn't think about it until this morning. Here is hoping they get returned in 4 weeks!

I agree with you Krisann, I think people should do whatever they are comfortable doing, no expectations. Whatever is in the FE, makes my kidlets so happy everytime they check it

I feel so bad, I think I worded my post in the wrong way. :blush Sorry everyone. I totally had no intention of trying to limit the FE. I wanted those who only wanted to do one to feel fine about it, especially where luggage space is concerned. I really agree that those that want to do more should go ahead and do it! My DS LOVES getting things in the FE too, and the cruise would just not be the same to him if I didn't do it.

When I said we can make it official, I meant Brookyln and Dishy's kids being SM partners.....not the limit on FE. I just posted under the wrong quote. I better go back and fix that.

5 gifts to deliver sounds perfect and then for the reveal another gift sounds nice too. So in total 6 gifts.


A maximum of $30 sounds great.


Last sea day is a great day to reveal the SM's.

I do have a question about the SM's.
Is it possible that my husband and I are just one SM or do we have to split up and be just one person???

I think you can do it as a pair if you want. You might be given a single person to give and a single person to receive from, but if you are ok with that, I don't see why not?

Even though your intention was not to limit how much you could give - there needs to be a minimum for that - and that could be one gift per family.

However, with current airline luggage restrictions, everyone please use discretion when considering how much space / weight gifts will total.

Finally, I just sent the ebay lady all my choices for my FE. All Blue & Orange... we are HUGE Mets fans & staying with that theme! I even drew it out & colored it first to see what it would look like... I am such a nerd!

34 cabins - 86 people - 59 adults - 27 kids

18 cabins are only adults (30 people)

16 cabins are adult(s) + kid(s)

Personally, we've only ever scheduled one dinner online or in Rockin' Bar D (embarkation day). However, I am not sure if you can schedule something online, then another at Rockin' Bar D (I think not). The ship wants to be fair, to make sure everyone has a fair chance at getting at least one reservation. That being said, once the ship leaves Port, you can call Palo's reservations from your stateroom, to add additional events.

This is sounding good! I have 100 of my gifts so this is working out great! They will not go to those under 6 or so so I will have to go check out the list.

Someone was asking about what type of gifts -- there is a whole thread on the main board with pictures and ideas. Some of the smaller gifts have been some of our favorites - and also things that can be used up during the cruise.

They do not have to be hand-made or expensive - some of my kids favorite things are the pirate tatoo's

While we are on the subject of the FE, not sure if Michelle or Lynne is keeping charge and who to PM about it, but need to make sure my second stateroom of

Eric (dh), Kayti (18), Chloe (8) and Bella (7) are added It is a CAT12 GTY.

We love the FE and my family loves whatever comes in it, whenever it comes. So much fun to come back to the room and find treats waiting.
