at both DVC Members Service numbers, for the past 2 days. Either a busy signal at the 407 #, and dropped call at the 800 #. Have tried to contact over 20 times past 2 days. Is this the new DVC disservice? Both MS and IT leave alot to be desired. Who's running the ship, and how can I get in touch with them?

In March when the parks were shut down and my trip was less than a week away, I tried 60-70 times all day with the same issues and after I got through, I was on hold for over an hour. Once I got on the phone with someone, they were fantastic. They are getting slammed right now. Be kind, be patient and keep trying.

More inbound calls than the phone system is designed to handle.

If you don't have a super hard problem I have found that getting through to the on-line chat service. After I log on it tells me what # I am in line and how long the hold time is but it's never been as long as they estimate!

I had a recent call With DVC. I pushed redial repeatedly 60-70 times before I got through. I had a kind of dead space but stayed on the phone and eventually moved into the automated system. I had another long pause during the automated section. Eventually, got to hold music and was on hold about an hour.

It took around 5 minutes to get through and get in the queue and then approx an hour before I talked to someone but they are there and working very hard

I understand they are slammed. Couldn't they have had the decency to have a message instead of just dropping your call without explanation. If they're that busy get more staff to handle the overload; stay open later (maybe even 24's, until the current demand is met or declines).

Everyone is losing their minds because their June UY points expired and disappeared from their account, and the phone system can't keep up. This isn't the fault of the person on the other end of the line when you do get through so don't take it out on them. Relax people your points will be back in a few days.

Yes, it was like there was a time dilation field happening!

Workers are still furloughed.

I have heard and read customer service is not the best. Sorry, I hope you get through soon 🙂

They are dealing with thousands of calls and rude yelling people. Not making excuses for then but saying you’ve heard customer service isn’t the best is kinda rude to the hard working CMs. If you’ve had an experience it’s one thing to say, but saying you heard through gossip isn’t productive.

Gossip?? Actually I've listened to the stories by Pete and the others on the DIS. Also read some post of specific experiences on these boards.

Such strange responses from many of you...rude? Not productive?...you need to lighten up. I was being supportive

Got through late morning today. Redialed 17 times to get in. Said 40 minute wait. Was on hold for just over 30 minutes.

Never encountered a rude CM in all my years in DVC. Be respectful to the CMs. But just dropping my call without explanation is rude. Create a message explaining the backlog. Rehire furloughed workers. Extend hours of operation, etc.

They should have a recording at least saying hey, everything is behind. I don't know about the DVC offices, if people already worked from home. Maybe they can't social distance in the office, maybe they don't have enough technology for people to work from home. I know one of our federal government agencies is still slowly getting headsets for people to be able to work from home.

This is a rough time for everyone. I am lucky to still be working and I answer phones but let me tell you I am typically near tears by the end of the day because of all the stress.

Since our dues pay for member services and I have not heard of any reduction in dues, shouldn't all DVC cast members still be working? I drove by DVC main office off I4 the other day and the parking lot was empty so I would think most were working from home.

Dues are prepaid, the actual cost of the dues will be known later in the year after the final tax amounts are set by Orange County, so you don’t know is there will be reductions or not.

Correct however since DVC still takes monthly dues payments and member services is run with our dues
they should not have furloughed anyone?
