I had a weird thing happen to me this morning. I had to stop at the gas station to pick up something to go with my lunch. I'm coming out and there is a guy standing there. He asks me if I could help him open his gas tank door...or whatever you call it. I look at him like he's nuts. He explains he needs someone to push on the left. Now, I have my keys and wallet in one hand and the bag in the other. He seems nice enough but I don't want to be in close proximity to a stranger like that. So I apologize and say that I am in a rush. He gives me this look like I am the world's worst person EVER. I mean, come on! It just was bizarre-o to me. But now I feel bad.
See, you don't have to worry that he is still struggling to open his tank since the clerk helped him!

). Someone recently sent me one of those mass e-mails about ways to avoid becoming a victim. It was filled with things like - get in your car from the passenger side if there is a van without windows parked on the drivers side because someone may be waiting to grab you. Being quite Pooh-like

That is wierd in a really creepy way! And lets not forget, Ted Bundy used the "I'm injured, please help me" thing to get his victims in his car (not to mention the guy in Silence of the Lambs, which was actually the first example I though of
Anyhoo, once I got my license he was super paranoid. I still freak out if I have to get into my car alone at night.

My little 6th graders are reading quietly, so I thought I would sneak on and say hi.
