I am halfway through the second one now -- Dead Girls Don't Wear Diamonds -- and enjoying that one, too. :thumbsup2

Book Three of the Sookie series is where I started really, really liking them -- that's Club Dead, right?

Morning, gang! CP- I looked up that book series on amazon and it looks really cute. Thanks for the recommendation! :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Good Morning Everyone!!

Julez is def. Tigger.

I had a weird thing happen to me this morning. I had to stop at the gas station to pick up something to go with my lunch. I'm coming out and there is a guy standing there. He asks me if I could help him open his gas tank door...or whatever you call it. I look at him like he's nuts. He explains he needs someone to push on the left. Now, I have my keys and wallet in one hand and the bag in the other. He seems nice enough but I don't want to be in close proximity to a stranger like that. So I apologize and say that I am in a rush. He gives me this look like I am the world's worst person EVER. I mean, come on! It just was bizarre-o to me. But now I feel bad. :guilty:

You are welcome -- I am really enjoying the series! I wish I could just sit and read uninterrupted for a few days!

I don't blame you -- that sounds really weird and creepy. I would have done the same thing as you. You just never know in today's day and age.

That's always how my train of thought goes. I mean, if the guy had a cast on his hand or something like, then I might have. I don't understand why he would have needed help opening it. The clerk came out and helped him as I was pulling out.

See, you don't have to worry that he is still struggling to open his tank since the clerk helped him!

That is wierd in a really creepy way! And lets not forget, Ted Bundy used the "I'm injured, please help me" thing to get his victims in his car (not to mention the guy in Silence of the Lambs, which was actually the first example I though of ). Someone recently sent me one of those mass e-mails about ways to avoid becoming a victim. It was filled with things like - get in your car from the passenger side if there is a van without windows parked on the drivers side because someone may be waiting to grab you. Being quite Pooh-like ;) I tend to never think of such things as a possibility

I always think of things like that. My dad was/is super paranoid and he passed that along to me. He used to make us do fire drills in our house. Crawling out of the house and everything. He'd also stand in our way and pretend to be the fire. :lmao: Anyhoo, once I got my license he was super paranoid. I still freak out if I have to get into my car alone at night.

OK so I decided to check out e-bay to see what they have for pins. Do any of you know about these lots? Some sellers are offering pins for around $1.30 each if you purchase them in quantities such as 25, 40, etc. they guarantee that they are Disney trader pins and if you keep it under certain quantities, they guarantee no doubles.

Is this too good to be true?

I have bought two lots like that, Katie. All of mine were trader pins by Disney. Nothing I received was untradeble. I think I did a lot of 10 and then another of 10 by two different sellers. I had good luck with both of them. :thumbsup2

ebay rocks, Katie. Give it a try. The only thing that stinks is when you get ones you really want to keep! Than you end up having to buy more so that you can have ones to trade!!

'Nother horribly busy day ahead of me girls. Just wanted to stop in and say hi!

Good Morning!!

I guess I need to head over and read that review and see how the Tony's GG goes!!

As of today I can officially say the last day of school is ONE MONTH away YAY!!! I can't wait for summer and the fact I will be able to have some time to actually spend on here with you guys. YAY!!

I finally finished both of my Jodi Picoult books and she does very well with the shocking ending but you have to have a box of tissues nearby when you read her..very dramatic.

Well I do have a small pin collection...I have a few of the ones I'm willing to trade but I have an obsession with holidays...I love having holiday pins and I can't wait to go and get one for Memorial Day and maybe even Flag Day and Father's Day YAY!!

I agree LL, definitely creepy. Now if Dbf were with me I probably would have done it, but not by myself!

Yep! Club Dead. I'm excited to see how you like the rest!

My little 6th graders are reading quietly, so I thought I would sneak on and say hi.

I totally thought of Silence of the Lambs -- you never know when some unsavory character is the next Buffalo Bill.
