Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

I'm done with Nobby....

Ooooh.... Harsh, Jess. :rotfl:

I have however already seen a difference on the scale with the new eating habits!

Mine have gone UP! I swear, the more I pay attention to food and what I'm eating- the hungrier I am. And I BINGE on crap the moment I walk in my door. I did great all day and just now after dinner I ate, like, 10 oreos!! I really don't understand myself.... :sad2:

Gnomies- I had a craptastic day today. For reasons to complicated to explain. Work sucks. Why am I not independently wealthy? :confused3 ;)

I'm sorry you had a bad day, C. I ask myself the same question EVERY SINGLE DAY!!

That is harsh, Jess. :lmao: Really? You're done with him? Already? :rotfl:

Thanks for the bad day at work sympathy LL and Julez. Stupid work. :headache: Tomorrow is Wednesday and half way through the week, at least!

So, my friends, as previously established I had a yucky day at work. And need to be at work early tomorrow. Stupid work. :headache: I'm buying a lottery ticket tomorrow. ;)

Anywho, thought I'd post a question of the week a little early. I was listening to a Disney podcast trying to calm down from my craptastic day and they were talking about the little things in Disney that keep you coming back.

So that is the question:

What are the "little things" -not necesssarily reasons to visit in and of themselves-that thrill you about WDW?

Here are some of my "little" things:

* Fiber optics in the sidewalk in future world :)
* Speaking of sidewalks, the custodial staff who paint the sidewalk with their brooms
* Jumping fountain outside of the Imagination pavilion :upsidedow
* KTTW card - I know you pay for it at the end but for a time it seems like an all inclusive resort :)
* And love that they send packages back to the resort- has to be one of the best inventions EVER ::yes::
* Moving sidewalks (no matter where they are - even in airports- they always make me think of Disney!)
* Stacy - she's annoying but it's like I can't look away. I watch that Top 7 show incessantly. And someone just told me that it's on You Tube somewhere! :hyper:
* Silly hats. Love that this is a place where a father of five can wear a goofy hat with pride! BTW - think we all need mouse ears for gnomefest!!

And you? What are your "little things" ??

Sorry C that you had a "craptastic" day (although I must say :lmao: I love that word! of course, not that you had one!)

I'm going to have to give the question of the week some thought. Do you think we could fashion gnomehats for our mickey ears?

Thanks, K. It is a good, descriptive word, isn't it? And yes, I think gnomehats would be AWESOME! Or at the very least, legendary. ;)

Good Morning Gnomies.

We are half way through the week, thank goodness!

Great question, C. I am going to have to think about it some more. :thumbsup2

Crowd level 5
 :cool1: :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

You know, I really thought the crowd levels would be predicted higher. This is excellent. I think you should be our official crowd monitor, Katie.

I haven't checked for my week in May, I should do that. I can get to that with just answering questions right and not paying? I'll have to find my Unofficial Guide.

Hey, it's not like I have another trip before then to monitor! I just looked at your May dates, maybe you don't want to know :guilty:

I love the crowd alerts...thanks Katie!!!

Hmmmm...we are going over Memorial Day Weekend...we have to be honest with ourselves and realize its going to be crowded :rotfl: (I'm going to guess an 8)...but that is what seperates the planners from the non-planners. We know how to handle the crowds and how to hit up the rides and when to make sure we don't have a lot of wait time...and even if we do at least you will have company for the most part to entertain you LOL!!!!! That is what allows my heart rate to come back down to a normal pace when we discuss things like waiting in a 2 hour line for Soarin together at gnomefest...at least I will have some really great people to pass the time away with LOL!!!!

Hmmm...great question C...I have no idea I will have to think on that some more...I think I'll need to narrow the list down.

So umm...you guys remember when it rains apparently its Monsoons at my house...well all I'm going to say is "Code Red Lockdown" means weapon on campus at our school and yah we had one yesterday. Good times...this year needs to end ASAP or at least get me through the week.

My girl is doing great...I went and saw her last night and she was up talking and making jokes, she has such a good spirit about this. She and I ended up watching some movie and just giggling together so it really helped me to end my day like that. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for her, it really does mean a lot to me.

OMG Jen!!!! :scared1:

I hope all came out OK at school! Glad to hear your girl is doing better

Thanks Katie...We have been told it was unloaded at the time however the kid did pull it out on some other kids and waved it around which is just as scary because they didn't know it wasn't loaded. BUT ALL IS WELL and that is the important thing.

Will you PM them to me? May 22 - 30. :thumbsup2
You know how they were reporting 8 and 9's for this week...well I have read that people are saying it's more like 4's in the park. :worship::worship:

I still can't believe you had a Code Red. How freaking scary!

I am so glad your girl is doing well. :goodvibes

Oh geeze girls! I guess my choice of words was a bad one :rotfl:
I am not "done" with Nobby, I think Nobby is tired of sitting on my desk and is ready for his next adventure!

Hurry to all the new diets and weight loss...how awesome! :woohoo:

Jen-Holy crap! We had several bomb threats when I was in high school and had to sit on the track for hours! Thank goodness it turned out all alright for you and glad that your friend is doing well! :goodvibes

C-Hope your day is better today! I hate crappy work days!
P.S. I will have to think about your question of the day...so many to list! Awesome question though! :thumbsup2

Okay Gnomies, I need some ideas. I feel like Marc and I cook the same things over and over again for dinners.

Any quick and easy ideas? Cheap is good too!

Blake and I talk about this all the time! Maybe if we all swap a few ideas, we'll all have something new to eat?

What do you and Marc like more? Are you looking for chicken recipes? We tend to have a few varieties of that.

We like everything really. So anything you got, I will take! :thumbsup2

* Stacy - she's annoying but it's like I can't look away.

You could probably describe me that way too! ;)
However I am a Stacy-hater....whenever we're there and the TV comes on it's "Turn it turn it turn it turn it turn it!!!!! I don't want to hear the voice I don't want to hear the voice I don't want to hear the voice!!!":lmao: Really...if they were going to choose a Stacy to do the videos why wouldn't they choose me?! :)
C- I hope you win countless riches on your lottery ticket! My plan is to marry a super rich man who wants nothing more than to spoil me rotten! ;) I hope work gets better

Jen - OMG how scary. I am very glad you're safe and sound.

Katie - I love love love your crowd outlook!!! It's less than a year!!!!!!!

less than a year to gnomefest!!! Less than a year!!:woohoo:

Glad your girl is doing better!
