Oy what is it with Mondays and bad news...the day was great. We did have some bad storms and rain like I have never seen rain before....but we survived the school day and that was all that mattered. Then we arrived home...to no power. Apparently the storms and all the rain caused a pole to fall and they were out working on it, however we had no power until about 9pm last night...ughh...thankfully I have grocery shopped in like a week and half so nothing in the fridge to go bad...but I was seriously bummed because it was the one night this week I was going to be able to finally catch up on all the DIS stuff I have been neglecting. The rest of the week until Friday is like a zoo LOL!! Oh well going to look on the bright side and hope that all of you have a great day today!!!!

It is 11 and I am bored at work already. Seriously, this is a little rediculous! I come to work 2 days a week because I feel like I should but my responsibilities aren't enough to fill the time. It makes me feel bad but I don't know what else they want from me.

Greg is home today because he is having problems with his shoulder and wanted to go visit with the doctor about it. The boys are at school/the sitters. Maybe I'll go home early and we can have some alone time before picking up the boys

I just got an estimate for brake pads. I'm going to drive up to my parents mechanic again. He was over $100 cheaper then who I called down near me. I have to have my car there around 7:30AM, that means living my house around 6AM. It's going to be an early Saturday morning!

That's exactly how I feel Katie, I get 2 hours 3x per week with my part-time job, which I do during my "normal job" because since I dont have classes anymore, there's little to do aside from my thesis stuff (which I can only handle so much at a time!) But I find myself leaving early a lot to go hang out with Blake, especially when the weather is as crappy as it has been.

I vote go hang out with Greg!

The finger crossing worked -- most of the storms petered out to just rain last night -- now we are supposed to be sunny until Sunday!

Oh, I hope you like it! LL got me started on them -- I am reading the last one right now -- the next one comes out next month. I love them! I was even trying to read it during training yesterday!

I didn't realize it was a series, until i looked it up to find the section it was in last night! I read a chapter before bed and brought it to work with me today!

I LOVE the end scene, I could watch it over and over again! I downloaded the song onto my ipod the 1st time I saw it! I keep telling Blake I'm going to use part of that song for our wedding, something non-traditional. Blake's SIL used one of the songs from Narnia after I introduced it to her for her walk down the aisle song.

Jess, I love unusual songs at weddings. Marc's cousin walked down the aisle to a song from Princess Bride and I walked down the aisle to Somewhere Over the Rainbow by....I can't remember his name. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Thank you google! His version was in 50 First Dates...I adore that song. It was very nice and a lot of people awww'd when it started to play.

I decided to give up pretending to work and went home. Greg and I went to lunch, had some time and then I took a nap . Now the boys are outside playing with the neighbor kids, enjoying the beautiful day and are out of my hair for awhile.

Tornado Warning at WDW!

I was on the DIS briefly this morning when my attention was caught by this! So, then I had to go look at the weather sites -- sure enough the warning listed MK, Epcot, and DHS by name!

Now it's one thing to have tornadoes here in my hometown, but let me just state for the record: Tornadoes are not allowed in my happy place!

I think they are a rarity -- remember last June when we were down there, there was one, but we didn't even know until two days later -- sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I forgot we were in the area at the same time last year. As I was reading your previous post, I was thinking there was one when I was there...that was one of our SeaWorld days I think (we were taking an afternoon break and got hail and our hotel lost power)
