Really? The 360 gets you that bad?
Sorry to hear about it.
And sorry I've been a slacker.
It's been real hectic around with here coaching Girls Soccer, Boys Little League, and running Cub Scouts - all with major events this past week.
I'm exhausted and need to crash now.
I hope to get France up tomorrow.

Loved your update on Canada! I for one, am very excited to catch the 360 show, and sure hope it doesn't get me all queasy either. I can get dizzy in them sometimes, too. Aren't those gardens peaceful?? Very nice!

Thanks - here's a bit more...

I almost forgot.
I took some pics from the lobby while waiting for the O'Canada show.
First off, there's a glass pane you can look through to see the wonders of the Great White North...
IOUG2009559.jpg

Then there's some supplies those Canadian lumberjacks use every day!
IOUG2009560.jpg

Seriously though, the lobby area is nicely themed with the rustic side of Canada.
The lanterns are a good example:
IOUG2009561.jpg

Lastly, upon exit of the show, you end up in the Kidcot area.
The entire alcove is made of wood complete with a table and a canoe.
Apparently Canada's version of kid entertainment is the "Canoe Club!"
IOUG2009562.jpg

Just a little extra details from those lovable canucks!

Bonjour!
Nous sommes arrive en France!
And crossing the English Channel gives a tourist some great views, bien sur!
IOUG2009568.jpg

Here’s a closer look at an artist’s work as he paints by the Seine.
IOUG2009569.jpg

I decided to explore France a bit and take in the sights.
The gardens were full of perfume topiaries for the Flower and Garden Festival.
Photopass2009276.jpg

And even Mickey showed up (sort of) to say Bonjour!
Photopass2009278.jpg

From the gardens to the fountains, one can even see la Tour Eiffel in the distance.
Photopass2009287.jpg

It was a quaint little country village I had found my way into.
On one side were the gourmet restaurants (complete with rats)
IOUG2009579.jpg

And on the other, the lagoon with a lovely maidens destined for greater things.
Photopass2009293.jpg

This particular maiden went by the name Belle.
In her blue country dress, she seemed right at home but something was still missing.
In fact, she was missing her “prince” and she said he would return from the castle later.
I decided to explore a bit elsewhere until her prince returned.
On the outskirts of Plume et Palette, I found a princess in pink.
Photopass2009303.jpg

She took my arm and I was magically transformed into a prince!
Photopass2009306.jpg

From there it was back to the countryside to enjoy the intracacies of the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival
IOUG2009578.jpg

Jiminy Cricket himself apparently had a hand in this exhibit showcasing a “green garden”
IOUG2009570.jpg

A small path led through an archway and on to a lovely area for children
IOUG2009571.jpg

A nice little area for les petit enfants to get their wiggles out.
IOUG2009572.jpg

The playground was even intertwined with the flowers and gardens of the area:
IOUG2009573.jpg

Not to mention the rock edifices
IOUG2009575.jpg

The exit of this little area was adorned with a mailbox.
I.M. Green definitely built an area for both the children and the earth.
IOUG2009576.jpg

But that Kimmunicator was still buzzing in my pocket.
It was time to return from my diversion through the French landscapes and back into the thick of Paris.
Senor Senior Sr was on the prowl!
A bientot!

I can ride just about anything. Including the coasters at Universal, but the 360 movies make my stomach turn.

You remember a fair amount of your French there, mister! Tres Bon!

I can picture the fragrances of France- so many flowers!!! When you saw those little play areas, were you missing your kiddos??

Beautiful pictures of France! The flowers are just lovely! :goodvibes

I was reading your post thinking it's been almost exactly a year since our overlapping May trips! Hasn't it flown by much too fast?!

How about Mission:Space Orange Team?

Who knew High School French would be this useful!?!?! :goodvibes
The play areas were really cute but they looked mostly for toddlers.
I think my little guy would've loved it but the older two may have gotten bored.

Sure - rub it in that I've been really slow getting this trip report done. ;)
As long as I finish this one and then our November trip before we head back in January!

As for time flying, it's actually seemed very slow for us since we miss it so much.
We're jealous that you guys just got back and are going again soon while we're on hold till January... :guilty:

I can do roller coasters of any kind and be fine but add a movie screen and a moving ride vehicle & I'm toast  or any kind of movie that is more than a regular screen & I end up green:sick: for the day :(

Even the Disney bus makes me sick !

Sounds like you have very busy being a great Dad & Leader for the kiddies !

Love the ending pictures of Canada, what a cute little area

Nice France photopass pictures , I love doing photopass at that fountain , it turns out soo pretty !

Can't wait to hear all the KP details popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

Wow, I'm surprised with that type of reaction, you can do much of anything at Disney!

I can't ride it back to back, but once is does not bother me.

Well, you'll have to skip the 360 then and go right to the Kim Possible missions!! ;)

Wow, I'm surprised with that type of reaction, you can do much of anything at Disney

I actually do mostly everything believe it or not I have just learned to close my eyes durning certain parts and avoid ones that have constant movie screens. (I'm totally fine on most 3-D also )

I know my motion sickness is picky & it makes me a little weird !

Senor Senior Sr. and his son, Senor Senior Jr., were up to their old tricks in Paris.
They opened a new night club and, thanks to their Procrastinator Ray, were able to make sure the guests never leave!
Next they planned to use it on all of Paris and then nobody would care about the villains as they robbed everyone blind!
With Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable still en route, it was up to me to catch the Seniors!
Cue that famous beep!

Wade first sent me around the back to La Signature Perfumerie.
Apparently our agents had recovered the plans to the Procrastinator Ray and they had a strange scent.
Wade thought it could be Senor Senior Jr’s cologne.
I activated the Kimmunicator’s built-in “sniff-o-matic” and then pressed the button on the Eau de Lait bottle on the sampling poster.
IOUG2009582.jpg

When the perfume sprayed out, the Kimmunicator went to work.
It was a match!
Now that we knew our suspects, it was time to set our counter-plan in motion.
Wade needed help calibrating the targeting satellites in Paris.
So I made my way over to a secluded spot, moved into sight lines of the Eiffel Tower, smiled, and said “Fromage!”
Wade snapped a picture to test out the targeting computer and then Wade sent it directly to my Kimmunicator!

With the targeting recalibrated, I found out that Senor Senior, Jr. recently checked out a book at La Librairie.
Since Junior can barely read, Wade found this highly suspicious so I headed over there ASAP.
IOUG2009585.jpg

This was a bit tricky as the small library of books is actually in Les Vins de France.
IOUG2009587.jpg

I used the embedded fingerprint scanner in my Kimmunicator against the window of the shoppe hoping to pick up a clue.
Digital scans of Senor Senior, Jr’s prints displayed across the window and then they matched!
The culprit’s prints appeared on a book called L’Exposition Universale – a book about the 1889 French World’s Fair.
The book also discussed the creation of the Eiffel Tower itself.
That’s it! The Seniors must be planning to use the Eiffel Tower as some sort of antennae for their Procrastinator Ray.
Now it was up to me to stop it!
I headed towards the waterfront where Wade had stashed an Override Relay.
Using a spectral enhancer to make the invisible Procrastinator Ray, I watched through an antique camera as we redirected the signal and stopped the Seniors!
Way to go Team Possible!

With the world saved yet again, my stomach was starting to rumble.
Lunch in the World Showcase is such a treat that I decided to explore.
Being on my own was the best time to try something new so I was off to yet another new counter service!
Au Revior!

Another great update! The Kim Possible missions are such a perfect fit for WS and really make it a lot more fun and interactive :)

Yeah, they are alot of fun.
Actually, I would probably rate the one in France among the lesser of the missions.
There is less interactivity on a grand scale.
But it still spices up the World Showcase and helps the kids explore.
I know when I went back with the family and had some different assignments,
the kids saw part of the pavillion they've never seen before.
It's a great way to get them to really get into the pavillions and not just skirt by them.

Fun in France!! I love the pictures you got this time!

Love your Kim Possible updates , they have such great details ! We def need to try some of these missions on our September trip :thumbsup2

Thanks - I tried for some classics as well as some ones you might not expect.

Kim Possible was alot of fun.
I definitely think some missions were more fun than others though.
If you only do a couple, I'd recommend United Kingdom, Germany, and China.
Japan and Mexico were probably the next tier.
France and Norway were probably the least interesting.
However, keep in mind that the assignments within each country are randomized and can change.
Keep in mind that there are things I've never done which may make some of the "lesser" countries more fun and vice versa.
I guess it all depends on where in the World Showcase you are when you want to "save the world!"
