No wbta 2013

Now, I know it's Lent, but the Bishop has always given us dispensation for Irish Night.

I wasn't exposed to the Catholic religion until I moved to PA as a newlywed, but I find it absolutely fabulous that one can get special dispensations and change the "rules", as long as the priest says it's ok....fantastic! :lmao:Permission to be bold, sir! :thumbsup2 Truly no offense intended...I work in a Catholic facility, where my Catholic co-workers find great humor in such things :goodvibes; it's been a great education ;)

Morning everyone!

Now that DCL did their incredible (cough, cough) promotions for the Fantasy, maybe they can get onboard for announcing the rest of what they NEED to announce. Like our WBTA.

Okay, I'm one who has been saying it'll be in April, and it probably will. That doesn't mean I don't want it NOW! A girl needs to plan, you know?

In the meantime, I'm hoping to get over to the MK at WDW next week. Looks like Tuesday might be a slightly cooler day. The last five or six times I've gone to the parks, it's been Epcot. Easiest to park at and no further travel to get to the park - but it's been so long since I've done the MK. I am soooo craving a Dole Whip!

They need to have those on the ships....

After two days of rain, today it is a beautiful day, it isn't that warm, only 56 at 8:30 a.m., but promises to be warm and in the low 70's by mid-day.

Good Morning America had a segment on the Fantasy, with Sam interviewing Iger.

Still not even a hint of when they will announce a WBTA.

Yeah, this was why I was usually in trouble when I went to Catholic school:

Me: "Um, why would God care whether or not we eat meat on Fridays?"

Them: "We're sacrificing. God wants us to sacrifice."

Me: "But what if you really like fish? That's not really a sacrifice, is it?"

This was usually followed by some version of "shut up kid" or "do I need to call your mother?"

The whole dispensation thing just confused me even more.

For most people, RC stands for "Roman Catholic." For me, it's "Recovering Catholic." :rotfl:

To each their own, though. :thumbsup2

Yes, to many, the explanation is a sufficient or not a problem.

Our thoughts are with those you are affected by the storms across our country.

We are experiencing a warming trend. At 8:30 is 63 on my deck this morning.

DH and I are headed to The World even as we speak (well, more or less). We are in North Caroling tonight, two nights a bit further on, several nights in St. Augustine then to Fort Wilderness. There for a while before moving on to the gulf coast and across the panhandle.

Some new territory for us, but mostly thrilled to see THE MOUSE!

Yes, Dole Whip would be a great addition to the offerings on the ships. A dark rum floater would be good too!:drinking1 Maybe I'll have to stop by the Poly and have one while we're visiting next week.

Good morning everyone! :surfweb: Sitting here having my coffee and surfing the DIS.

I had a thought - no matter when they announce our cruise - today is one day closer!

Perhaps someone who will be on the Magic soon could ask about where and when they are going into Dry Dock. It would give us something else to talk about and pretend we know what is going on.

40 here and dreary. At least some of us have Hawaii to look forward to in the near term!

Well, I'm a good pretender. Lets see: They will announce the WBTA on April 10th. It will start in Barcelona, after a short cruise from Venice to Barcelona, and end in PC. They will do some kind of cruise afterwards to return it to Galveston.

How's that? (ah folks, just to be clear - this is me making stuff up - but it does sound reasonable, right?)

OH MY GOSH MAYBE SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN SOON?

I just looked on the FB page for this meet - and Audrina noticed that it now has the EBTA listed as Itinerary A.

I don't think I've seen that before. Could this actually BE something?

PLEASE DCL?!!! LET IT BE!

Me again. Sigh.

Someone said it's been there all along. Although I swear I never saw it before. I was so excited for a few minutes...... :sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:
