No transportation at ticket center

So, what exactly runs from TTC. Buses to all 4 theme parks? Disney Springs? Water parks?

So, what exactly runs from TTC.
1. Buses to all 4 theme parks?
2. Disney Springs?
3. Water parks?

1. Nope.
2. Nope.
3. Nope.

What IS there?
Monorails to/from Poly, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
Ferry boats to MK.
Buses to the above, when the monorails and/or ferries are not running due to breakdowns and maintenance.
-and-
Buses to/from non-Disney resorts.

I think if you went over to the Bus Info booth and explained the situation, they would get a bus or van to take you to the MK. Be firm. Ask for a transportation manager, if necessary.

This.

BTW, I don't know how a guest would know if there are "no buses" running.

Thanks to everyone for all your knowledge and suggestions. It is is just frustrating that Disney sells these tours and pre-opening ADRs, but then sometimes makes it nearly impossible for people to figure out how to get there in time. It is good to be aware of all these different possible ways to make it work, but I don't think it should be paying guests' responsibility to have a plan and four back-up plans for how to get there on time. Disney should be just running their transportation at the right times so that people can get there on time!

When I was visiting last year I had PPO ADR at Hollywood Studios. We were staying at Yacht Club and I asked at the desk before we left that morning about the boat. I was told the boat didn't start running until 8 AM, but my ADR was at 8. I was told I could walk. Wonderful, except my mother in law was with us and she was 81 years old.

If neither the ferry or monorail are running, there will be buses. But, you have to go around to the side to find them! That area isn't that obvious unless you know what you're looking for.
If you are coming from an offsite hotel and are going to have to pay to park anyway? Just drive to the CR and valet park there. Then walk over to the MK...takes less than 10 mins.
If you're staying onsite, I can't imagine why you would drive. Taking the bus to MK is always recommended. However, if the boat isn't running from FtW, then they are going to have to provide another means of transport. If this is the case, talk to someone in authority there....have them arrange transport for you. If Disney doesn't have the usual transportation options available, they usually provide an alternative.
This is why you need to leave plenty of time to reach your final destination.

As far as what is actually at TTC now? Not much. Buses from offsite resorts use this area to drop off guests. Lynx has bus stops there as well....Orlando's public transit system. And if the monorail is down, there should be buses to MK and Epcot available.

This.

When it's happened to me it was because there was a CM standing there telling me there were no buses and I should go wait for the resort monorail to open. I can't say I've argued with them or insisted on talking to a manager, just took their word for it. (I've taken the bus from the TTC to MK enough to know I was in the right place).

You shouldnt have to. Its pathetic of Disney to offer early morning offerings yet leave their guests without a way to reach them.
Agreed. When I used to drive buses at the MK in the a.m., I always thought it strange that there was no "official" plan to accommodate Guests going to the MK (or Epcot) before the monorail opened. More than once, I asked a manager what the procedure was, and was answered with a shrug or "Good question."

But, OTOH, there were many times that I saw a bus being instructed to pick up a party for MK or Epcot, or a manager driving the Guests there them self. At that hour, MK drivers are starting up their buses for the day at the TTC, and it's trivial to have one drop a Guest at the MK before their first run.

Don't forget that some of these people may or may not be resort guests. They just paid $20 to park their car in Disney's lot...only to have to call a taxi and pay them to come and drop them off at the front gates! That's ridiculous!!

Edited to Add: Possibly not even the front gates...maybe the Contemporary and then you get to walk :)
