THIS IS HALLOWEEN PART IV


After Boo to You, we headed for Tomorrowland for more candy stations that we didn't hit before!

We did catch some of the dance party which was pretty packed!!

We took a ride on the Peoplemover and then I decided to head home and call it a night. I ended up walking out of MK right at 11:30pm and was home, showered, and in bed by 12:30 which was pretty good!!! I was pretty good at work on Wednesday but began to fade around 3pm with my 5 hours of sleep, lol.

My candy bag was pretty much filled. The only two spots I didn't hit was the one by Buzz and the one by Wishes Dessert Party area. At the parade, they gave the Mickey suckers out.

No festive PP this year?!

OVERALL..

It was a great party and I'm glad I went! My CM friend "D" who works at CSR was also there with some work people and we had the same shirt on!!!

I loved the parade as always, fireworks were great, and the new Villans show was good. We got some great candy and loved our Mickey buckets.

Downfall..the crowds. I was not expecting that for a Tuesday. The candy spots were generally lined up, the rides were lined up, the character spots were lined up as well (except Duffy).

I'm looking forward to going with my family on Friday. We won't be doing the character spots but I will try to get them to do the HM ones. If the crowds were like Tuesday it will be good and manageable.

Great review of MNSSHP! I am so excited to do this!!! Looks like they're giving out a great variety of candy. Too bad you didn't get a good shot of the headless horseman. Oh well. You've got another chance! I'm surprised you say the crowds were high seeing how it's still September and it was a Tuesday Weird also how they don't have a festive photopass. Did they still give you that offer of a discount for photos taken the night of the party? I know they did that last year too.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I have only been to MNSSHP once, and it was years ago when it wasn't at the popularity that it is now.

I laughed when you talked about fading the next day around 3pm. That's totally me! I joke with myself all the time about how old I feel like I'm getting, because I just can't hang the way I used to.

Awesome pictures and review of MNSSHP! The more I see of it the more I cannot wait to go. That stinks that it was crowded for early in the week (and also in the season!)-I'm fully expecting it to be a lot busier when we go since it's the day before Halloween.

The crowds were nuts! It was a HUGE CM night and you could tell for sure. I know a lot of CMs were given free tix and that was the last night you could use it. We'll see how it is on Friday! I have no idea about the discount?! It didn't say anything on the PP?!

Haha, I did great during school but after the kids left, we had a seminar of which I began to fade lol.

It would be super hard for a teacher to miss school at that time of the year!! Not a ton of schools have "fall breaks" or are off for Columbus Day so it would make it super hard!

Aww, thanks!!! We did really have a great time. I wish I could have stayed till the very end but this Friday I will for sure!!!! I will be doing another report of course because it will be tied in with the whole weekend

SEPT/OCT PTR

Happy Monday Dis Friends!!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I started getting sick on Thursday night but I'm finally starting to feel better today! I have to be 100% for the busy weekend ahead!!

Some updates about the trip...

**My parents are debating about getting APs I told my mom that I would pay half of each of their passes and use that towards their Xmas so I hope they take the deal so we don't have to ask people to let them in..I hate doing that

SCHEDULE:

Friday 30th:

~Mom and Dad land at 11:30am at MCO. Bro is picking them up and will drop them off at CSR before he heads to work at 2.

~I'm leaving work early at 3:15. I'll head to CSR to get my room key from the front desk and will head to our (HOPEFULLY BED BUG FREE) room, change, and grab a bus to MK

~We'll be at MNSSHP till midnight. I did end up canceling our ADR at Tonys and we'll do a QS for dinner, paying OOP.

Sat 1st:

**Plans are subject to change!!!!**

~The current plan is to go to DHS for the whole day with an 11:00am ADR at 50s Prime Time.

~If mom and dad get their passes, we will take an afternoon break and then head to MK in the evening to see the 40th anniversary fun + watch the special Wishes Fireworks show.

**There is a chance that if they don't get the passes that we might go to Universal but mom and dad will have to pay to get into IOA since bro's passes are gone already.

I'm hoping for the DHS/MK option. If anything, I might have to break away from them to see the special fireworks but I think they are like 99% sold on the APs (at least mom is!)

Sunday 2nd:

~Most likely we will be spending the whole day at Epcot with doing rides and exploring Food and Wine. We had a Rose and Crown ADR but canceled it to enjoy all the food and wine fun but if anything we'll get a QS meal and pay OOP.

~DHS is open till 12am but I have work on Monday so I will be calling it a night after Illuminations

Monday 3rd:

~I will head to work for 7:30am.

~Bro is off work so he'll spend the day with mom and dad.

~If they have their passes, they might head to AK for a few hours in the morning.

~Their flight is at 4 so bro will head to the airport with them around 2.


It's a super short trip which kind of makes me sad but I'm planning on going home over Thanksgiving so I will get to see them longer, not to mention their week long Dec trip that's planned, and I'm going home for 10 days over Xmas


I've already begun packing with a week packed schedule!!!

Great plan!! I know of a few families that will be at MK for the festivities, mine included in them. If you see a weird chick with Tigger leg braces, and maybe ears in a wheelchair....that's me!! HAHA Maybe I'll get some of those light em up things to take and put on the spokes of my chair LOL Glad your parents are coming back down, and I hope it works out how you want it to!! I'm very anxiously waiting for Thursday to start the weekend!!!

CHECKING INTO CSR AND AN UPGRADE!!

Hi Dis Friends!! I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to start the mini trip report! On Sunday night, I began to get sick with what I thought was some sort of allergy attack and by Tues with sleep and more allergy meds, I was fine...or so I thought.

By Friday, my throat was on fire and I knew something was not right and what I thought was a sinus infection for 2 weeks, finally started showing more signs including a fever. I was lucky to be able to get into a doctors office in Champions Gate so I paid my $20 co-pay yesterday and my antibiotics were free at Publix!

I can't keep stressing how happy I am that mom and dad were here last weekend because it hasn't stopped raining since Friday night. They say that this might turn into a tropical storm of sorts and it might as well be because the rain and wind are nuts! At least if I'm sick, it's a good weekend to be sick! My school is not off tomorrow for school (Vet's Day we're off) but I wish we were so I'd have an extra day to recover but I'm taking my meds, resting, and drinking lots of fluids!

Now for the report....

FRIDAY SEPT 30TH, 2011

My day started off at 6am. I was so stinking excited to get the weekend started even though I had to work! Mom and dad's flight was at 9:30am so they were up and on their way to Cincinnati when I got up!

After a trip to Dunkin Donuts, I made my way to work!

Mom and dad landed just fine and bro picked them up at MCO.

I had planned to meet them at CSR to get my room key but as I pulled in at 1:00pm, Dad called to say that their system was down and they couldn't check in..ugh!

I parked and walked in to say hi to mom and dad. CSR was writing vouchers for food, parking passes, and park tickets which was nice! By the time I made it back to school, the system was up and they got into our room: Cabanas 8A 8247.

Mom and Dad got to the room, unpacked, and made their way to MK and...

THEY BOUGHT ANNUAL PASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a huge debate in the past few weeks but dad finally caved and the APs were in their hands!!! He has already found them to be a good value which I'm glad to hear!! I agreed to pay for half of them to put it towards Christmas since we're always looking for what to get!

At 3:15pm, I left work, got my room key, parking pass, and made my way to 8247!!

Mom had already check to make sure it was bug free and it was! The housekeeping looked to be good, we were left with double the soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions!

ROOM VIEW:

We were upgraded thanks to my friend! We were right on the corner next to the dig site. 8A is by far our favorite building. It's super close to the bus, pool, parking lot, and a short walk across to the food!

After I unpacked and listened to Stacy on our TV (which was kind of fuzzy?!) I decided to hop in the pool before getting ready for MNSSHP!

I also filled my mug before leaving for the room!

I got ready for MNSSHP and in 30 mins I was out the door! Since mom and dad had their APs and got in early, I didn't feel bad taking a few extra mins to get ready.

By 4:45, I left for bus stop 4 which took 20 mins to get the MK bus!
