I don't understand. If pedestrians don't run into other pedestrians on the street, (which is really a walkway-not a street) they must obviously be watching where they are going. At least I haven't observed people walking on my heels and crashing into me to be a major problem at the parks. On the other hand it seems that the most of the running into is between pedestrians and strollers.
I believe that this is because the strollers are at a lower eye level and not readily observable by pedestrians, and because of that it is the stroller pusher's responsibility to be more careful of where they are going. After all they know they are projecting a wheeled vehicle extending approximately three feet out from their body, while it may not be readily apparent to other people who's vision is limited to heads and shoulders in a crowd. And unfortunately there are many of the pushers of strollers who are like drivers of SUVs and tractor trailers and feel that might makes right on the so-called "highways" of Disney. On the other hand there are obnoxious pedestrians and people in general who take not care for others in any circumstances.
I do believe that strollers are necessary for young children at the parks and those under 5 will enjoy MK, but as a family as my children got older we got a lot more out of WDW as a whole when they were more mature.
