No rooms for Thanksgiving 11/27

I called today to make a backup reservation for Thanksgiving, becuase I'm WL for Thanksgiving.....

No rooms for Thanksgiving 11/27 at any DVC, any room size.

That doesn't surprise me. I called at the 7 month mark, starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving for a 2 bedroom and the only place that I could get was Saratoga. Which was fine with me, since it is our home resort. But Old Key West was even full!! But I did waitlist for Old Key West and it actually came in which saved us points to bank for next year!!!!

But I have noticed that it is getting busier at that time of year.

I think this is getting harder because of all the developer points.....


and that's why they want us to do exchanges out (you think they'd get the website up for the short II stays if that's what they really wanted )

I'm hoping that we'll get some relief when Kidani comes on board - maybe they'll get it early....

I bet NYE is also sold out, but haven't checked....

It's those developer points, people who usually have no problem getting VB for the summer were complaining that they couldn't get reservations that were usually pretty easy to book at 7 months.
