No rooms at the values??

I'm so disappointed! My TA just informed me that there's no rooms available at any of the values for next month...I know it's last minute, but DH couldn't get his vacation schedule until just recently.
This is just not looking good. We can't afford a moderate, with it being right around Christmas.
I'm scared to tell DH, he was so looking forward to this.

I was looking for values for next month too, but there were none available even on the WDW website. Maybe you should call the reservations line from Disney. They might be able to find you something.

what are your dates? last summer when we needed to add a room to our grand gathering and the resort was totally sold out i was able to snag a room (at rack rate) thru www.lastminutetravel.com... expedia and travelocity often have rooms when other sites don't, so it might be worth a try!

There are Value rooms available in the last week of January, seem to be quite a few according to the website so this statement is not accurate.

Now if you are JUST looking at 11-19 than that is not suprising as you are overlapping both the Marathon crowd and the MLK holiday crowd. I have a friend going during the MLK weekend and everything is pretty much booked so I imaging it is going to be quite crowded.

No, I don't think so. We're really pushing it for staying so long at just a value, I'm not sure we could afford those nights at CBR. I will talk to DH tonight, we may have to switch dates...Does anyone know if there's availabilty for the end of January/beginning of Feb?

There's something on the Disney site that shows availability? I didn't think to check there.
With DH's job, we have to come back on a Saturday, so checking in on the 13th, so that would only be 6 nights. Ugh, this is frustrating. I will talk to DH as soon as he comes in.

Disney Marathon is January 13th, so everything is booked up January 12th. Maybe spent a few nights at a moderate or off site and then move to a value after the marathoners go home.

Also check the aaa.com website for Disney hotels.

I know the marathon and holiday are around that time but there are also CMs checking in for the CP. One of my dates I could pick was 1/9 or 1/16 and I picked the 7th and I'm glad cuz otherwise I would be stuck w/o a hotel before check-in.

We were going to stay at Fairfield Mariott but it was already sold out so we're staying at Courtyard Mariott. Did you consider staying off property?

You could Priceline something cheap for the first two days and then move to Pop or stay off-site in a really nice condo.

Keep trying! I found out at nearly the last minute that we could swing a between Christmas and New Year's visit. I called 4 or 5 times and finally got 4 nights at CBR. Otherwise, I was being told either nothing or $4800 for 5 nights. We're staying at an Embassy Suites for the first night on Hilton points. I honestly did not think that we'd get anything at this time of year. (I only called last week!) So, keep trying. My good luck phone call was in the middle of the morning, Tuesday.

We booked our January mini-vacation the minute the AP rates came out & were lucky to get ASMu when we did. We're checking in on MLK Day for 3 days 2 nights & there wasn't much left then.

Thanks everyone. I think we got everything straightened out. We switched the dates to Jan 25-Feb 2nd. And we're staying at the renovated rooms in ASMusic. I really appreciate all of your help!

i was able to book pop for january 9-11 for two rooms i think it was two nights ago... i would keep calling
