No Reservation Confirmation Emails Anymore?

Just got confirmations from reservations made the end of December. Got excited because I thought I got a waitlist….bummer

Same for me -- I received two emails for reservations made Dec. 29th. Now anything I made previous (like the last 4 months) I have yet to get a confirmation email on.
I was so excited because I thought my waitlist had came through... darn -- but still happy to be able to go.
 
Received 2 confirmations yesterday. One for a cancelled one, gave me bit of a start until I verified on website

Same! Yesterday I received an email confirmation. I got excited for a minute, thinking my waitlist got filled. But no, it was a confirmation for a reservation I made on Dec 29.
 

Plot twist... I called to check on my waitlist because it expires today. My waitlist had actually matched, as well as one I have for Nov (that I forgot about).

She processed both of them, and I actually received my confirmation emails this time 🤣

I made an update to a reservation today and got the confirmation email within 20 minutes. Maybe the issue was fixed…who knows???
 
I'm not certain if this is a system change or just something a CM somehow was able to do but for the 1st time I'm aware of a confirmation email was sent to a renter. We decided not to travel in a couple of weeks and had split reservations that I rented. I called to update the lead guest and I only received one of the 3 new confirmations and the other 2 went directly to the renter. It caused a tiny bit of confusion that I'm not really happy about happening at all.

Do you put in the renters’ email addresses? I never do, but I hope this is not a change and just something that got caught up in the catch up from them not sending them for a few weeks.

I always have and it has never done this before. All contact from DVC including confirmation emails went to the owners email on the account and ignored what was entered on the reservations. My assumption is that wasn't used unless the resort was trying to contact them over some issue while they were there.
