No-Park Day

We normally take the day to get settled into our room (I'm the type of person who unpacks everything, even if I'm only in a hotel for a few nights), and go to the pool, then either head to DTD for Earl of Sandwich for dinner, or make a dinner reservation close to DTD or the resort we're staying at. We like to relax the first day so we're wired for rope drop the first morning we're there.

We have a similar schedule for our trip in June. 7 days there... 5 at the parks. We are staying offsite so on arrival day, we will swim, explore and then head to DTD to hang out for a bit.
