"No One's Gloomy or Complaining"-in DISNEY WORLD!~An 11/12 TR!-*NEW TR Link pg 56!!!*

How exciting!! I was so disappointed that they were doing CM previews the whole time we were there in October. I can't wait to see the inside of BOG! From all the pictures I've seen, it looks incredible. Can't wait to see what else you were able to experience there!

you got some great shots of BOG. Mine are all so dark. which day was this? I totally missed any daytime dress rehearsals and only got to go in during party hours, which meant the whole area was pretty dark.

Oh wow! My parents got in on a dress rehearsal day last November too. How amazing. What an awesome experience!
I'm literally in tears right now. Every trip report that shows that phenomenal ballroom gets me going. I can't wait to see it for myself!

I am so jealous!!!
Be our guest doesn't have anything on the menu ry would eat :( so we have yet to eat there! :'(
Eventually we will eat there.
I will just enjoy your pictures of it until I end up going :)

We ate inside Gastons at least, and that was amazing :)

LoL I need to buy some Minnie ears this next trip.

That's fantastic that you were able to see the new Fantasyland. I think the whole area is amazing, they did such a good job with it.
I have yet to go inside BoG yet, and seeing your pictures makes me want to see the design so much more. I can't even imagine what it must be like...

hahaha, my next update is going to be basically the same as this one. :rotfl: Be Our Guest was amazing. We had the exact same lunch. SO GOOD.

Wow Jen - that's totally awesome that you got to eat there during the dress rehearsal. :thumbsup2 Your food looks so yummy and your cupcake - OMG. I have to have a cupcake there. Perfection.

Denny and I are having dinner there in June. I am really looking forward to it. I wasn't able to see the inside of the restaurant in October. Can't wait to see it.

Yay! You got to not only walk through New Fantasyland, but you got to EAT AT BE OUR GUEST!!! How amazing! It's so gorgeous in there, and I agree, the technology of them finding your table is wow! :goodvibes I've heard mostly great reviews about the food there. The only "bad" reviews I've read were some people complaining that the food was too fancy, especially for kids. But then you have people complaining about only eating burgers and fries all vacation long, and children never having any other choice besides nuggets and mac & cheese. I wonder if it's the same people who complain about both. You can never please everyone. :confused3

I thought our skipper was good, so I'm curious what a bad one is like! :rotfl2:

A bad skipper just sounds a little flat, and makes the ride more boring. Still enjoyable in a relaxing way, just not funny. In fact, it's because of this that I wonder if maybe we got a bad guide for the Great Movie Ride and that that is why we hate it so much? :confused3

I enjoyed seeing your many pictures. I started to comment on certain ones, but then realized they were just about all food pictures, and I thought that might make me look a little hoggish.

Let's just say, I agree with you on the Holiday Sandwich at Earl,
and
I scrape some of the banana away from my Tonga Toast. :goodvibes

I like many of the other food items you have shown, as well. :thumbsup2
(And I think I am just excited to be looking at food again after having had some kind of horrid stomach virus since Friday.)

I am enjoying the Christmas decorations, too, since we didn't take a 2012 holiday trip. We'll be back this December, and though I don't want to wish the year away, I look forward to seeing Disney Christmas decor again.

Looking forward to more!

Haha, aren't food pictures in TR's the best? I LOVE that Holiday Sandwich! I'm so excited you can get it year round now! :cool1:

Oh no, a stomach virus? Hope you're feeling better! :thumbsup2

Haha, I'm the same way, I hate wanting time to go by so fast, but at the same time, I want to get to Disney! And the holiday season is the best time to go, in my opinion! I hope we get to go this year! :cool1:

Jen, so glad you got a chance to see the Dress Rehearsal. Isn't it marvelous? I am so glad we had dinner at BOG in December when it first opened and I have two more ADR's for this year (and will probably make one for December too...and I just realized I can make ADR's for that trip the day I leave for my June trip ).

I'm so glad you enjoyed your meal. They truly did an outstanding job with BOG.

Thanks, me too! It's amazing, such a perfect addition to the park! Wow, how are you going to make ADR's when you will be leaving for your trip!!! :faint: Actually, I have to start thinking about ADR's for December too, I THINK my ADR date is June 6, but I could be wrong...and now we might be switching our December dates so I don't even know what's happening with this trip right now!

I loved BOG! I'd like to eat there on every trip!

How exciting!! I was so disappointed that they were doing CM previews the whole time we were there in October. I can't wait to see the inside of BOG! From all the pictures I've seen, it looks incredible. Can't wait to see what else you were able to experience there!

I really didn't think I was going to get into New Fantasyland until the Christmas party, so when it was open, I just couldn't handle it! It's so wonderful! I can't wait until you finally get to see it! :cool1:

you got some great shots of BOG. Mine are all so dark. which day was this? I totally missed any daytime dress rehearsals and only got to go in during party hours, which meant the whole area was pretty dark.

Thanks! This was Tuesday, the 13th, and I am really not sure why it was even open, since they were doing AP previews that week! We just got really lucky, right place at the right time I guess! And just think if we didn't go to Kona that morning, this would have never happened!

That's too bad that you only saw it in the dark, but at least you got to see New Fantasyland! I would have been so upset if I didn't get to see it at all on this trip!

Oh wow! My parents got in on a dress rehearsal day last November too. How amazing. What an awesome experience!
I'm literally in tears right now. Every trip report that shows that phenomenal ballroom gets me going. I can't wait to see it for myself!

It was a great experience! I'm so happy we detoured that way on our way out!

I know, the ballroom is so amazing! You are going to feel like you are IN the movie, it's fantastic! :cool1:

Haha, well Caitlin wasn't too thrilled in Feb. when we ate there either, they have some weird selections for kids! :confused3 I hope you do eat there someday!

I love Gaston's! I want to try one of those pork shanks someday! :rotfl2:

YES you do! How you can walk around Disney without Minnie ears is beyond me! :rotfl:

That's fantastic that you were able to see the new Fantasyland. I think the whole area is amazing, they did such a good job with it.
I have yet to go inside BoG yet, and seeing your pictures makes me want to see the design so much more. I can't even imagine what it must be like...

I loved New Fantasyland, I was seriously in tears most of the time we were there!

BoG is amazing, I love it sooo much! I hope you get to go there soon, it's just like being inside of the movie! :goodvibes

Great update! :)

Thank you! :goodvibes

hahaha, my next update is going to be basically the same as this one. :rotfl: Be Our Guest was amazing. We had the exact same lunch. SO GOOD.

I just read your New Fantasyland update! I loved Be Our Guest! In fact, I think I might like lunch more than dinner, but I'm not sure...I might have to test them both out again! :rotfl:

I know, I can't believe it! When I saw people lining up, I just didn't think we would get to for some reason, that's why I had Brandon ask! I was in shock! :rotfl2:

You haven't eaten there yet? For some reason I thought you have! You're going to love it! I just wish I didn't have a headache that night, because I wanted to get a glass of wine and drink in the Magic Kingdom for the first time ever! :rotfl2:

O.M.G!!!
How lucky are you??/?/?
What an experience you guys had...!!!!
Jealous!!!

I KNOW!!! It was so amazing! I'm so glad we got to see New Fantasyland, it was perfect! :goodvibes

omg you have me so excited to eat at BoG!!!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

You're going to LOVE IT!!!! :dance3:

Haha, I agree, you can't please everyone! I wouldn't say the kids menu is fancy, I just think...well, it's not chicken nuggets or mac and cheese! Caitlin didn't like it, she got pasta and didn't eat any of it! :confused3 I'm sure eventually enough people will complain and they will add those things as well! I loved the food there, I thought it was fantastic!

Well our skipper was pretty good, she was older, and she kind of had a sarcastic tone to her delivery of the jokes, which I appreciated since I'm pretty sarcastic myself! I just wonder if people who are more familiar with the Jungle Cruise would think she was one of the bad ones! :rotfl2:

Now, one the Great Movie Ride, I've had some bad guides, some really boring ones who seemed bored out of their minds, but I've always felt bad for them! So that doesn't affect my enjoyment of the ride, it just makes me feel sorry for them that maybe they are nervous or something! :rotfl2:

AHHH I would have cried, too, if I got to go into New Fantasyland early. What an awesome surprise... and even better, you got to eat at Be Our Guest! I mean, what more could you ask for?! Kind of amazingly awesome! Between yours and Lia's TRs, I love that you guys got preview of New Fantasyland! That is just so awesome.

We might try to eat at Be Our Guest for lunch in September but we'll see. Since we already had dinner there, it's not like the end of the world if we don't get lunch there. So we'll see what happens... But that place is so beautiful and perfect!

Trying to get caught up on some TR's...

Glad you got the short notice ADR for Kona. I was torn between the Macadamia Nut Pancakes and the Tonga Toast. The pancakes won out but next time I may try the Tonga Toast...

I used to hate seeing my pictures and I am still critical of them put will share any post as those are the memories we have. If you hide everything then it is like saying it never happened. You are a beautiful lady. You should not be so critical!

I can't believe you had never ridden the Jungle Cruise before! I love the Jungle Cruise!

very cool you got pics with the new Daisy and Minnie!

New Fantasyland looks awesome. Can't wait to see it for myself soon!

Yes; our arrival date is December 3 and I can make our ADR's on June 6; my plane is at 1:30 which means I need to leave for airport at 11:30 a.m. So I hope to get them all made before I head to the airport.

Hey you. I'm back and going to get caught up during the week. I'm subbing to your girls TR too. ;)

How cool that you got to eat at BOG!!!! The restaurant looks SO cool!!

It was awesome getting to eat there so unexpectedly! :thumbsup2 I love it in there, it's just like the movie!

I know! It was probably one of my best Disney days ever, I mean, really! It was just so unexpected, I was fully prepared for it to be closed and it was OPEN!!! It was just to much for me to handle! :rotfl:

Yeah I'm not going to worry about eating at BOG whenever I go back with Brandon, since we already ate there. If I can get an ADR great, if not, whatever, there are other places I'd rather take him anyway...like JIKO! I think he'd like Jiko much better than dinner at BOG! :cool1:

Trying to get caught up on some TR's...

Next time I eat at Kona I have to try those pancakes, they look so good! :thumbsup2

Aww, thank you! Ugh I just don't like picture of myself! Someday, when I'm thinner I'll put up more pictures, but for now, one or two here and there are about all I can do! :rotfl:

I know, I'm glad I finally did the Jungle Cruise! It was fun! :thumbsup2

I loved Minnie and Daisy, they were so adorable!

New Fantasyland is the best! I could live there! I can't wait for you to see it!! :goodvibes

Hey you. I'm back and going to get caught up during the week. I'm subbing to your girls TR too. ;)
