Anyone thinking Disney is going to lose a ton of business with this with GE opening is delusional.

Nobody interrupt me, I'm making notes of whose WDW pics I want to try and find on the internet so I can shame them with their fannypack past!
My eyes! My eyes!Dis Girls gone fanny pack wild!!!!!

My mother in law rocked a fanny pack last month with us during our Disney portion of the trip.
There aren't enough red flags in the world for me to un-see that.
One area in the parks for all smokers would be horrible. I’m choking just thinking about it. It would have to be really far away from everything else.....like say outside the entrance.I plan to quit smoking next week. That said, I will take only 1 more Disney trip next year to treat my grandkids and then, I’m done.
Disney could have 1 smoking area set aside in each park for those who want a cigarette, vape, cigar, etc. It could be set well away from those who are bothered by smoke. I don’t appreciate the nanny attitude from Disney. It’s demeaning. Hope Disney loses lots of business. My daughter and ber wife had planned a combined WDW/Uni trip but they’ve cut the Disney part. Neither smoke but like me, they don’t like Disney’s overlord slant.

It actually worked pretty well for her for all those reasons. I just couldn't lose the opportunity to use MIL and red flags together here on the Dis.Not a fan of the fanny packs but whatever flips someone’s switch is fine with me. At least pack wearers don’t have to worry about forgetting them on a ride, in a restaurant, or on a bench, etc.
Have fun !I;m surprised that this thread hasn't been banned yet by the mod's. There's some nasty comments and sniping going on. I think we've discussed this to death IMO! So.....on to better threads![]()

I showed my daughter my "really cool" Frogbagz "waist pack" that I got from Amazon and for some reason she had the same reaction?Nope. Waist packs aren't happening either.
So many high crimes of fashion happening here!
I did quit. It took 15 years and at least a dozen serious attempts. I tried just about every available method (gum, patches, cold turkey, nicotine-free cigarettes, vaping, hypnosis...) until landing upon the one that was most successful for me — tracking and slowly weaning my intake. It was a 6-8 week process where I basically locked myself in the house and avoided all triggers as best I could. Alcohol, social interaction, smoking cessation commercials on tv... Inevitably, I would relapse at some point and have to go through the whole process over again. So if it isn't fun, why not just quit? There are lots of methods to help with that nowadays.

They do have one area set aside, but that doesn't seem to be good enough.I plan to quit smoking next week. That said, I will take only 1 more Disney trip next year to treat my grandkids and then, I’m done.
