As a mom who both breastfed and bottle fed I have to say I hate it when I see a mom just whip out her breast like it is nothing. I'm sorry it isn't "nothing" It's rude to show nudity in public with out attempting to cover it up a little.

Go ahead and flame me too. Yes it is natural to breastfeed but I do not get why people don't understand the idea of modesty. Get a blanket or go to a quiet corner away from people and do it.

I have had many friends breastfeed in public and only once when the baby pulled the cover off did I actually see any breast.

Obviously I am not against breastfeeding just the idea that people think that everyone should be okay with it and don't care if they flash the world.

It's about as appealing as seein a butt crack to me.

Sorry but that is how I feel and if you can't understand that it can be a bit offensive to some then we will never agree.

Get a blanket and cover up or do it in a corner where no one can see. There are plenty of quiet areas in Disney World that people can do this without flashing. I know because I've had to feed a baby there myself and did it without disturbing the public

And no I am not talking about bathrooms either. That's disgusting for the baby and mom.

Not everyone likes to see breasts of uknown women. Just think about that before flaunting it in public.

As soon as a mother who whips out a bottle has to go into a corner to feed her baby I will go into a corner to feed mine.

Do YOU want to eat your food under a blanket? It's freakin HOT in Florida. I'm not putting a blanket over my babies head so he can sweat to death while he's eating.

I also don't expose any part of myself while I'm feeding him, unless he squirms and I'm not fast enough.

Don't look. It's as simple as that.

It's just as much a woman's right to not cover herself when breastfeeding as it is for a woman to wear a shirt with her breasts popping out, which I see a lot more of than a over exposed breastfeeding Mom.

Those types of clothes are offensive to me and I don't want my little boys seeing that. So guess what we do?

OP, I totally get where you are coming from. There is absolutely no reason why a woman who is breastfeeding must pull up her top and let her breasts fall out completely exposed and proceed to feed her child, all the while being totally exposed. She is looking for attention plain and simple.

The people who are arguing this point are just arguing because they can, and it gives them another reason to bash someone whom they feel isn't PC.

I don't care how "natural" breast feeding is. I don't want to sit at a table or an attraction with someone with their entire breasts exposed ever, whether they are breastfeeding or not. That is the issue the OP was speaking of. None of you "supporters" would be condoning a non-breastfeeding woman totally exposing her breasts in a public situation, so why condone it because she is breastfeeding? She could continue to breastfeed in public without letting it all hang out.
