Well, I am a DVR holder and no Free Dining (today). Tomorrow? Who knows - If I could predict the future, I'll be at the parks already...

Why today? According to when it was released in past years I'd say we have another week to wait. Free dining is usually released to the public around April 1 and Disney Visa holders about 3 days prior... Don't get worried yet!

Agreed! I think maybe Disney wants to let their current public offers expire before they roll out the next deal.

If you go to the Disney Visa site, in your account section, it has a section for Special Offers and another for messages. I just checked, nothing in either. Like someone already posted, I'm sure they are waiting for the current offers to expire on the 27th. Sometime they release the offers to Disney Visa holders, before the general puplic. Hope that helps. so until then, just waitin and waitin.

I don't see Disney releasing free dining until after the 27th. The current promo (GC and room only rates) can be booked until March 27th.

I got these dates from Mousesavers I believe....I put them on my calendar so I wouldn't drive myself crazy LOL

Free Dining Release Dates:
2006-4/1 and public released 4/4 for 8/13 through 9/30 check in dates
2007-4/9 and public released 4/12 for 8/26 through 9/22 check in dates
2008-4/7 and public released 4/10 for 8/24 through 9/20 check in dates
2009-3/26 and public released 3/30 for 8/16 through 10/3 check in dates

Most of these were able to be booked through middle/end of June....so roughly a 2 month booking window

The email I received last year from Disney Visa didn't arrive until after I learned about the free dining package from other sources such as AllEars and the DIS Boards. I learned about the package on 3/26/09 and booked later that evening. Then the email came in like the next day.

That's what I recall happening as well. I had the bounceback, but was booking for family members the first day it was available for VISA card holders. A day or two later, I got the e-mail from VISA letting me know about the offer.

I was looking to see if there was some sort of consistancy with the day of the week that the VISA offer was released. Nope (results above in red).

We'll just have to keep our eyes open.

Add me to the looking for FD list! And we had FD in 2007 and 2009 and both times I found out on the DIS before I heard anything from Disney Visa.
