no confirmation email?

Hi everyone,

I have been on MDE trying to get ADR's for BOG for my birthday. I managed to grab a lunch res. but when it got through to the confirmation page I got a 'error with this booking' message. I tried again 20 mins later and was able to score a time again and this time the booking went through (or did it?), anyway I received a confirmation number on my screen and a message about soon receiving a email...well the email still hasn't come through. its been over an hour, every other time I have received one instantly.

when I log into MDE it is listed in my reservations, but still no email? is that normal, or has something gone wrong?
 
i wouldnt worry if you got a confirmation and its in your MDE. i just checked and i never got an email for my CP ADR. But its in my MDE with all the others
 
yep, checked all email folders... if it was any other res. I wouldn't be so 'stressed' lol, but I really wanted this on my birthday (I sound like a child don't I?!). Coming from Oz on our Once trip, I am hoping it all falls into place. As I said it was the 2nd res. I had made for BOG in the matter of half hour due to page error, so that is adding to my concern.
 

I totally understand! I was leaping with joy when i got both the reservations I wanted (Chef Mickeys / BOG )! .. Like the other poster said, if its in your My Disney Experience, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you want to just double check and it makes you feel better I say you should call and confirm that way ;)
 
You should be able to call and have them resend the confirmation. If it's showing up in MDE with a confirmation number, I wouldn't worry too much.
 
I totally get your concern. We're going to EPCOT on DH's birthday and I really wanted a ressie to R&C to watch the fireworks. As with all my ressies, I had so many glitches trying to snag it. I finally called and the CM booked it for me. I have the confirmation number and it's in MDE, but I never received the email.
 
I had several this last trip that didn't generate emails. You could screen capture the reservation on MDE so that you have something to reference if there is an issue.
 
I made numerous ADRs for our upcoming trip. I did fail to get an email for just 1 ADR. But like others have stated, if it's in your MDE, then you are good!
 
I wasn't getting confirmations for reservations I ame over the phone but I did get the ones from the website....I wasn't too worried since the reservations showed up on my itinerary under My Disney Experience
