No Buses Between Parks??

I'm pasting below a couple of posts that I got over on the Theme Parks board.

They are regarding the lack of buses running directly between the theme-parks.

Any comments?

I ran several other queries which also gave me correct park to park answers. We've used Park to Park busses several times - haven't been there since February, but they were running fine then.

I have been reading the above mentioned thread and I have to admit, I am suddenly a bit confused. I thought I was sure that no busses ran from park to park. Now, I am totally in doubt of my knowledge and past experiences. Robo, for our sake in September I hope there are park to park busses, as this would save lots of time and effort during park hopping!

This question comes up often. There most definitely are busses between parks. (The MK busses are at the TTC),

On our last trip, I took pictures at each park of the bus depot signs.

Here is one from the AK showing what bus stop is for the other parks.

Hmmm... about that photo: Does that mean that there are no busses that go directly from the AK to the front of the MK -- that you still have to connect to boat or monorail at TTC to get to MK?

If the link to Our Laughing Place is correct, it looks like the Magic Kingdom is the only park without direct park to park bus service. Every other park gives me bus service between them, but traffic involving the MK includes some transfer point, such as the TTC or a resort.

The laughing place guide is worthless. It still shows a direct bus from CSR to BW but that route has been gone for almost 5 years. It shows EPCOT as a transfer point to get to the EPCOT resorts but that requires park admission and a long walk.

I sent them a message years ago and they said they were going to correct it.

It does show the direct bus from WL to TTC. Leave wrong information up long enough and evidentially it becomes correct, at least for a few months.

That is correct. To get to the the Magic Kingdom from another park, means going to the TTC.

I also figured out why. The TTC is where the public transporation (Lynx) drops off. So folks taking public transportation to the World can get to any park from the TTC.

That way they don't have to run a bus to the TTC AND to the standard bus dropoff area.

To get to MK from Animal Kingdom or the Studios, I usually take a bus to the Contemporary and just walk over.
