Hi All-

We are going to be at MK on Friday, 9/10. It's our only day at the parks because we'll be departing the following morning on the Western Magic cruise! Anywho, does Night of Joy increase the crowds tremendously?

Thanks!

Just bear in mind that MK closes at either 5:30 or 6pm that night. You have to buy a SEPARATE ticket to get into Nights of Joy - it is expensive - like $29.99. It will be held from 7-12:30am from what I have researched. Supposedly the nights are REALLY packed - even the rides. That is why they have extended it to 3 nights this year - Thu, Fri and Sat. I am a little dissapointed in this. We will be there from 4th-11th and I really wanted to be at MK our last night. I have no interest in the NOJ or paying extra to see it so I have been looking into possibly going another week instead.

During the day I bet MK isn't that bad. Not too many people would want to spend $60 bucks to only be there until 5:30pm.

Your best bet is to buy a 1 day hopper pass and do MK during the day - hop on the monorail and do Epcot at night. Illuminations is great way to end the day and look forward to your cruise.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Suzanne! We're really only looking to be in the park until around 3 or so anyway. This day at MK is just because we're going to be headed that way and figured we have to visit the Mouse and give him some more money! After 3 we figure we'll head back to the hotel, take a swim, eat dinner, and get an early night dreaming of the Magic!
