DH & I had a night out while Mom watched the kids on the last trip & had a BLAST at 8 Trax...was very sad to hear they closed the clubs!

What other options do we have for a night out as a couple beyond dinner? We like sports bars, dancing (not hip hop or rap much)

I suggest Jellyrolls dueling piano bar on the Boardwalk. It's a GREAT time!

Okay there is NOTHING OUT THERE FOR YOU. . .lol, kidding. The boardwalk area has ESPN zone for the sports bar thing and Atlantic Dance Hall has a DJ that spins some really nice tunes for dancing. And since the closing of PI I understand that it has become more busy. Give it a whirl. . .you might actually like it better. . .

:lmao:These are both in the boardwalk area? Am I correct that this can be reached by foot from the back entrance/exit of EPCOT?
Thanks!

I have to say I really, really, really miss the Adventurer's club, but I really have taken another look at DTD and I love Raglan Road now.

Yes, you can walk or take the boat from EPCOT to the Boardwalk via the Swan/Dolphin.

Another worthwhile idea is Mears transportation over to Universal CityWalk if you don't have a car. Like Pleasure Island, one price will get you into multiple clubs. Thursday night is 80's Night at The Groove featuring former 8TRAX DJ Doc and it's a LOT like a night at 8TRAX.

We just got back last week and we had an ok time at Jellyrolls. You can get there by walking from Epcot or we had dinner at Cape May Buffet and took a boat over to the Boardwalk. There is a $10 cover charge but the piano players were very good and tried hard to get everyone involved. There are 2 sets of players so there is music the whole time and they played a wide variety of music. It is not the Adventurers Club but it was fun and not something you would find everywhere!
