Going with my family for Xmas (grandparents and 10yo boy) - couldn'y get PS for California Grill so got into Nicoosee's - does it have a good view of the fireworks/electrical pagent? Howe's the food/ambience. Don't need anything really fancy, but would like a "nice" meal.
thanks

We eat at Narcoossee's every year and it has become one of our favorites. (The California Grill is our most-favorite!) Food is quite good-we have never had a bad meal there. Primarily, we order seafood because it is very fresh, however they have a good non-seafood selection as well. Desserts are excellent and huge! If my memory serves me correctly the Electrical Parade shows up around 9:00. If you can get a window table, you will be able to see it from the restaurant. To hear it, you must go outside onto the deck.

IMO, the atmosphere is more casual than the California Grill and I don't mean that in a negative way. The decor is dark wood with a high ceiling and can be very noisy when it is full.

I would consider it a more than acceptable alternative to the California Grill.

I have had a fabulous dinner at Narcoossee's! I agree that the seafood selections are wonderful. When we ate there in March, we had a great view of the castle (no fireworks that night) and a perfect view of the Electrical Water Parade.

The atmosphere can be a bit noisy - the room has large ceilings, and the sound tends to carry. The dining room has a simple elegance.

I think it is a great place to spend Christmas Eve! I am envious! ;)
