First off.. can I ask for some prayers for a co-worker? The reason I got called in yesterday was because a very sweet para, that has been there forever, got her foot caught in the blinds and fell down some stairs at work (just a couple, not like a flight) but she is in the hospital with a cracked pelvis and she will have to have surgery on her shoulder. Her and her dh were going to Cancun soon to celebrate their 40th anniversary.

I hope she is able to still go.
Okay.. I will try to get some more of this up before heading into work. So the night at the museum is a thing they do for the girl and boy scouts.. we were there with a couple of boy scout troops and we were supposed to sleep in a plane, but I will explain that later.
Here are some pics of the flight simulator they all go to go in. The boy scouts were a little ticked that our group got to do this and they got to build planes out of
lego. And.. of course, my boys were upset they didn't get to play with the legos.
There really isn't a good pic of Kayla on this tho.
Then they built rockets and got to launch them in the hanger, Nick got to go first and he did really well considering he is so much younger than all those boy scouts! After than the kids went and built little model airplanes and flew them and Nick had a blast with that as well. We had to modify his a little since he can't have rubber bands because of his latex allergy and wouldn't you know it.. his flew better than so many of the other kids there.
The boy behind Nick in that one is my nephew. LOL.. in the pic above and below, those are both my nephews.. I didn't realize it until I saw the pics up together.
We had a shortened tour at that point because things were running so behind but honestly we were all so tired, we could have skipped that all together and I don't think they would have noticed at all. Nick was the "line leader" and he loved every minute of it. There was a snack after that and then they started the movie.
When they said that the lights were going to go out, we didn't fully understand that the lights were going to go OUT! Like total darkness. While the kids were watching the movie, Jeff actually had to go out to the van and get a flashlight and we had to go to the plane and make the decision to move all the stuff back to the carpeted atrium. There was no way those kids (or us) were going to sleep in a total dark hangar. I freaked myself out just going in there with the light of my cell phone to retrieve the sleeping bags that were already in the plane! We told the kids and they didn't even care, they are such a great group of kids.
Nick was the first child to sleep, he left the movie early and him and Jeff fell asleep immediately. Gradually everyone else was out and I was very shocked that in a room that size with that many kids that all the kids were just "out" just like that. I didn't get any sleep because it was so cold but I did take a nap the next day.
We had a quick breakfast of donuts and juice and then checked out the gift shop. All the kids conned the parents into getting them something (of course).
Not a good pic of Kayla and her friend but.. oh well.
Off we went home and Kayla went to sleep. LOL
We did get another Big Give package in the mail yesterday. I will update that later.
