Nichole's Wishes PJ 10/24/2011 ~ WP/ADH/SCP ** OUR WEDDING DAY ~ The Reception

OMG!!!! Really!?!?!? What the HECK!!!!!!!!

:grouphug::grouphug: I'm sorry sweetie. Good riddance, I say <3

Botox bride? Really? Seriously? Oof.

Looks like you are WAY better off without her already.

Ignore it. I'm dealing with drama on my end as well, with family. I'm just over it and don't listen at all anymore. It's for the best.

Oh Nichole, I am truly sorry that you have to deal with this but very happy she is out of your wedding!!! You really do not need the hassle!!!

I am really sorry that you are dealing with this crap! You don't deserve it. Sounds like someone is jealous...

I'm so sorry this is all happening so close to your wedding! Shows how good of a friend she wasn't.

It will be less drama you have to deal with from this point on, I just went tthrough the same thing so I can relate.

Sending you hugs!

Thanks guys! The level of maturity emanating from her text just makes me shake my head (and laugh a little). I am hoping the drama is now over. I feel a little relieved since I have been expecting her to do something. I wish her nothing but the best, but as long as she waits for someone else to give it to her, I believe she will remain unhappy (and unable to be happy for anyone else). At least I have a few weeks before the wedding to move on from this point and focus on my friends (the "non-imanginary" ones :lmao:), family -- and most importantly on DF and I.

YAY!!!!! :dance3:

This is so rude and uncalled for... I am glad she is not part of the wedding anymore- or I would have had to kindly ask her to leave!! :confused3

I hope the drama is coming to close and you can begin to get more excited for your big day!! Which is so close by the way!!! Good luck on your house!!! We are debating on whether to try to buy a house before November... haha

Thanks! In retrospect we probably should have started the house thing earlier this summer, but we really want to start our new life together in an "our house' not in the house I shared with an ex several years ago. It adds a little more stress, but it will be so worth it for us! I am really looking forward to leaving this part of my life behind (and the drama that seems to be attached to it) :goodvibes

I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with drama as well. :sad2: I can't believe someone who you think is your "friend" would ever treat anyone like that. It'll come back to haunt her. Wishing the best for you! You'll be able to enjoy your wedding stress-free!!!

Thank you! I am happy to say that my week has been drama-free and life is getting back to normal! I do feel like a huge weight has been lifted and the wedding will run more smoothly now!

We have made the last set of revisions to our BEO and paid our final payment today!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: I have to admit, sending the final check feels pretty good!

I also finished the rehearsal dinner invitations last night. One more thing checked off my to-do list!

We also received the proof for our t-shirts. We are going to make the image on the back a little bigger, but other than that we are super excited about these!

The girls have all ordered their shoes and are throwing us a shower in a Jack and Jill shower in a couple weeks.

We received the application for our marriage license. So we still need to go get that notarized. So I have actually made some good progress on my to-do list. Here is the updated list:

1. Finish programs
2. Finish menus - almost done with these!
3. Finish place card candles
4. Finish Passports for new guests
5. Have all brochures printed for welcome boxes
6. Put together welcome boxes
7. Get earrings for the girls
8. Get marriage license
9. Get gifts for the girls throwing the shower

Certainly more manageable! With the long weekend, hopefully I can get most of this done!

Nichole sweetie
I think you have everything just right!!! The rehearsal dinner invites are sophisticated and elegant and the shirts for the 'Drinking Around the World' are bright and fun!!!
You have a great eye and brilliant ideas!!! This is going to be one good wedding!!

Okay I LOVE the shirts! I'm so jealous I don't get to do that with my BParty! =[ =[

And your rehearsal invites are amazing. Question, how did you make those pockets?? I wanna do something similar for our rehearsal dinner as well!

Sweetie - I know I am not Nichole so please excuse me for butting in, but all the DIY invitation companies seem to do these pockets ( I'm pretty sure Cards and Pockets will do them)!! I used them for my invitations, but used a UK based company. If you have no joy, let me know and I will point you in the direction of that company, but I guess it would be so much cheaper to use a US based company!!

Thanks! I ordered these pockets from www.envelopperinc.com. Then I ordered the card stock from www.cutcardstock.com - the red outer layer was .25 smaller than the envelopes and the white printable layer was .25 smaller than that. The name seals are left over from our invitations. I am pretty sure I ordered those from www.cardsandpockets.com. I printed the invitations and then glued everything together. All in all pretty easy once you get the hang of it! PM me if you need any help!

HTH!

Thanks hun! I appreciate BOTH responses!

Nichole I'm definitely going to bookmark those sites and save them for future reference! They're adorable! Probably affordable as well! =]

So, I don't know if you realize this, but we are getting married NEXT MONTH! And by "we" I of course mean each of us will be marrying our own DF. :rotfl2:

I had a very productive long weekend and finally started to finish up some of the projects I have been working on! :woohoo::yay:

I finished our ceremony and printed a few pamphlets with the entire ceremony for the rehearsal (and for a keepsake).

I have sent the ceremony to Rev. Jack, but I still need to follow-up next month about the rehearsal time.

I also finished the "Bear Necessities" packs for the welcome baskets.

We are sending all the pamphlets and other docs to the printer today, so hopefully I can finish-up the welcome boxes next weekend!

Everything looks great! I love the 'bear necessities' packs! They're soo cute! I hope I can somehow get them done for my guests as well! ;D

The programs look amazing! I can't wait to see everything else!

Nichole sweetie - You have made such a good job of the pamphlets and the 'Bear Necessities' packs. I used Baloo for my packs as I really don't like Winnie the Pooh!! Quite an admission for an English girl isn't it?

Thanks! They took a little longer than I thought they would (but then again everything is taking me longer than I expected lately!)

:rotfl: Love it! :rotfl:

I went shopping this weekend and found a great sale on earrings for the girls!

So I am finally done with the BM gift bags. This is everything that goes inside.

I might hold the parasols and earrings until the morning of the wedding, and then have them laid out for the girls when they come to my room in the morning. Since I am staying in a different resort, I am thinking that way no one forgets them.

I also found some boxes and little red ribbon for the hankies I ordered from Amanda. I got one for DF's dad & stepmom and DF's mom & stepdad:

and for DF (these are our vows):

I had a hard time finding the perfect boxes, but I finally found these at Michaels.

I plan on giving them out the morning of the wedding and sending DF's with his step mom. :goodvibes

Everything is so pretty Nichole!! You have such good taste!!
