The last project I finished this past weekend is the menus!

We also got our cake knife/server and our toasting flutes engraved.

I was finally able to find black charger plates for less than $2 a plate I was just about to give up on the whole charger plate idea - I don't like the beaded rim plates and the other ones were sold out everywhere or shipping was in the range of $60. Then I found them, ordered them and got a phone call later saying they were backordered until the end of November. So I cancelled the order, they called back and found black ones with white speckles on them. They offered free shipping so I took a chance. I don't have a photo yet, but I think they will look great with the silver linens!

We got personalized champagne bottles from a winery in norther Michigan when we went for our shower in July. Maxine said we can give her a bottle during the rehearsal and she will give it to the limo driver so he can have it chilled for DF and I after the ceremony. Should make for some great photos!

I am printing out the programs this week and we will hopefully go get our marriage license application notarized tonight. We also got an e-mail from our DJ (Steve Dunlap) so we need to fill out the song list/MC information now. I printed out all of the passports, and the pages are sitting under some law books before I put them together. My to-do list is shrinking (and yet growing with all the last minute extras that keep popping up!

1. Finish programs
2. Finish place card candles
3. Finish Passports for new guests
4. Have all brochures printed for welcome boxes
5. Put together welcome boxes
6. Get marriage license
7. Complete DJ song list

Thanks! The printed section is 5x7 and the onyx backing is 1/4 inch larger on both sides.

Thanks so much! Yes, I did make them and they weren't that hard!

I ordered 5x7 printable metallic cardstock and onyx cardstock that was 1/4 inch bigger on each side. I cut the ribbon and tied a loose knot in it. I taped the ribbon using double stick tape to the printed menu and put them in a big book to flatten the know. Then I stuck the printed part to the onyx backing and added a few crystals.

Everything is so pretty Nichole!! You have such good taste!!

Life has been so busy lately, I haven't had a chance to update my PJ. We got an offer on the house and found a new one. So we officially move on November 1 (and we get back from the wedding on October 28th)!! It should be interesting, but it will be nice to start our new life together in a new home

We had our Jack and Jill Shower and a mini-combined Bachelor/Bachelorette Party this past weekend. It was mostly our close friends from the Atlanta area.

My MOH, 2 BM and a close friend of DF and I threw the shower for us. Here is a pic of them:

We played a really cute game where DF and I sat back to back and were asked questions. Then we each raised a shoe of DF or I. The number of similar answers we got was the number of drinks we had that day/night.

We ate a lot of food and opened some gifts. Such a great laid-back party!

Then some people came over to our house to pre-party before heading out to the club.

We got our Drinking Around the World t-shirts yesterday. They are perfect!!! We are so excited.

Our marriage license came in the mail also!! Everything is becoming so real! We leave for Disney one month from yesterday!!

We are under the one month mark!!!

I have been so super busy with work the past week, but things have finally slowed down enough for me to catch my breath a little. DF has been great though. He saw how stressed I was with work and offered to finish up some wedding projects for me.

We got the Drinking Around the World t-shirts in last week I think.

We are so excited for this -- almost as excited as we are for the wedding!! DF did all the folding and started the gift bags this weekend while I was working.

Everything is printed for the programs, but we still need to punch the papers together and I need to add crystals to the last few place card candles. I finished the table assignments and sent those to Maxine. I think all we have left is to stuff the brochures in pouches for the welcome baskets and finish the questionnaire for the DJ. Of course there is still packing for the wedding (and for the move) that still needs to be done, but we are getting there!!

Thanks!! We ordered the shirts from www.thet-shirtland.com. We created the designs and sent them .jpg images. They were great to work with when we wanted to tweak the proof etc. and the prices were the best I could find!

We are getting married in three weeks!!!

I have gotten all my DIY projects done! I have to photograph some of them still, but what a relief!

We finished putting together all the welcome baskets and the document packs. We put everything in gable boxes with red crinkle cut paper on the bottom.

Then we added the wine and a few other goodies.

We topped off the boxes with some candy and other food.

Then we put together some brochure packs that we will put on the top before we wrap up the boxes and put the ribbon and labels on them. This is what each will have in it. It looks like so much more when the boxes are stuffed than when I lay it all out separately!

And the finished product.

The brochure packs have a bunch of docs in it.

You get the idea!

I am packing up everything in the plastic bins and labeling it all. I can't believe we are so close!!
