nice towns near Orlando to live

Hi!! We are coming to Orlando in May. While we are there we wanted to look at some houses in hopes of relocation. We are sick of New England weather and prices! Everyone here that I have spoken to said that we dont want to live in Orlando itself as it is a big city. I have grown up in a fairly rural area in NH about an hour away from Boston. I need suggestions for nice areas within a half hour or 45 minutes from Orlando as I plan on working at one of the hospitals there. Thanks in advance!

Winter Park is a beautiful town about 30 minutes north east of Orlando.

My mom has lived in the Orlando area for almost 20 years so I've been there many times. Winter Park has always been one of my favorite places.

We just moved from New Hampshire to Winter Haven - 35 minutes from WDW. Much cheaper than Orlando. PM or e-mail me for more info.

We moved to an area between Kissimmee and poinciana, very rural but close to stores and 30 min for WdW, Have friends that love the stCloud area and others like Lake wales. I think if I were to do it again I would look into the Clermont area,

Be sure to think about which county you move to as Orange is more costly than Osceola or lake or polk.

housing seams less expensive but we found Insurance to be high.
