She has received an appointment through for a CT (CAT) scan at her local hospital for next Tuesday.
CT scans show the stomach fairly clearly and often can confirm the location of the cancer. It can also show the organs near the stomach, as well as lymph nodes and distant organs where cancer might have spread. The scan can help to determine whether surgery is a good treatment option.
I know she had some X-rays done last Friday and has been given some tablets to heal her stomach ulcers.
Any spare prayers, PD, thoughts, and wishes are always very welcome at this very worrying time.
Thanks!
