Looks like Disney is starting to get rid of alarm clocks in the rooms for power strip type devices

Well I think many would disagree that every Disney restaurant is bland.

I really like having the alarm clock as backup. Last trip, we all slept through DH's cell phone alarm and got to MK 7am EMH lateI could sleep through an earthquake, really I have. I might have to bring ours from home.
You may be able to request one from the lobby. Or a wake-up call? (Because who doesn't want Mickey and his pals calling to wake them up)
If we're talking food then I actually think it's fair to say that the majority of Disney restaurants are deliberately... maybe bland is too harsh... safe?
They do american standards or maybe american standards with just a slight bit of flavoring.
You don't for example see a Vietnamese restaurant at Disney selling Pho do you?
If it's so bland how does Victoria and Alberts keep winning awards?Bland isn't too harsh, it's correct. People still line up for it, so there's a market for bland, no doubt about it.
This is also for only one month, this could be a blip on the radar. Or it could be more...

I'd be more worried if yearly numbers show otherwise. As of right now I think OLC is fine. However many believe Tokyo Disneyland is in fact ahead of MK despite TEA numbers. This is fairly big news. It's a humiliation to OLC and WDP&R. While between Tokyo Disney Sea and their MK they're still ahead total (by around double), the fact that the crown jewel of Disney's Asian theme park operations is potentially being surpassed by this more ambitious upstart is a blow. It goes to show Disney's Orlando Parks aren't as safe as some like to think.

Our MK remains the world's top theme park though. This is also for only one month, this could be a blip on the radar. Or it could be more...
