Too bad they've seemed to have lost their parody gene - they were really the best - Disney and the Hensen Group. Mickey and Scrooge McDuck in the Christmas Carol, etc., plus The Muppets have been all about parody from the beginning What a great opportunity for both. Leverage Frozen and upgrade Muppets. I'd pay money to see Ms Piggy sing "Let it Go" and Fozzie as Olaf..... Too much to ask for, I know.......
Well frozen is just a placement for a couple years at DCA until WDI comes up with a new muppets show.

Brilliant. Unfortunately, you're right...too much to ask far. We have to set the bar waaaayyy lower nowadays.

I really really hope you are right. I would hate for the MUppets to go away forever, I would love a bigger presence.

I don't think the muppets are gonna sell enough IMAX tickets or junk merchandise for the suits...it's just not gonna happen

That is a cardinal sin for the "makers of magic" now

And Colgazier's contract ends at the end of 2015. Also something funny from the Micechat article Disneyland officials came to WDW to see how they ran the frozen events. Disneyland following WDW isn't a good thing.

Agree 1000% percent.

It's like they can't figure out how to juggle the divisions and have more than a few produce anything at one time...

Like "well...We're paying for a Star Wars movie and finding nemo...so we really can't be bothered to let imagineering/park operations do what they've always done...or couldn't be bothered to put in the orders at the Shang Wu Sweatworks to have those frozen toys show up before April-July"

Tough running a business with unlimited capital, ain't it?

Those are great news, actually. I agree that all the Frozen overlays will probably be cheap and temporary, but I'm excited about the rest of the addition/updates. New World of Color, new technology for Soarin', a big update for Fantasyland and Paint the Night all sound like great news.

Seems they may have replaced parody with parity....

If you mean parity, as in:

"I'll take a parity's - one Anna and one Elsa - both XXL, and throw in an Olaf hat....!!!"

I'm in total agreement...

Toontown closes early for the fireworks doesn't it? It would make more sense to redo tomorrowland.

Yes it does and Disney does what disney wants to do, plus they are getting a new fireworks show so. Tomorrowland was the original rumored spot but now several sources micechat being the biggest say it's going to be toontown.

Indoor attractions may not need to be closed, so depending how they lay things out then closures may not be needed.

Yeah, that's basically what I was going for. pairs of things. It was a stetch, but at least it landed for someone...

Frozen Fever the animated short will be featured before Disney's Cinderella in March 2015.

Not thrilled. $149 was an easy upwell for me when planning my next trip. I'm not sure that $169 will hold the same allure.

Same here. Especially since our trip next August is only 5 nights. We usually stay longer, when just doing WDW, but this is combined with a (Roayl Caribbean) cruise right after.
