At Christmas party tonight and things are only worse. They opened band lines late at 7 and closed them at 8. Then you have to go all the way to guests services in the middle of the parade. So 2 hours later you make it to guest services and wait in an hour line out the door just to get a band!!! Worst trip ever!!! Never coming back!
Exactly what I was thinkingAnd as for selling stock for one of the largest entertainment companies weeks before what will probably be the biggest movie release ever, you might want to rethink that one.
They closed the band lines atI'm sorry you did not have a magical trip, but (and I don't want to clog this thread, so it may want to be moved to the MVMCP/some other thread) none of this makes sense to me.
What do you mean they opened the band lines at 7? The lines at the tapstyles? The lines inside the park? Instagram/Twitter show that people had their wristbands at 4, so someone had to be giving them out before 7.
2 hours to get to guest services from where? Even with a parade (that is maybe 20 minutes of run time and does not run anywhere near a band distribution station), I don't see where you can be coming from that it would take that long to get to guest services.
For a non-sold out, rainy Thursday night party, and based on the current ride times, I actually find it impossible to be as crowded currently as you make it out to be.
And as for selling stock for one of the largest entertainment companies weeks before what will probably be the biggest movie release ever, you might want to rethink that one.
I hope you are able to take a step away from it all and enjoy the next 1.5 hours of the Christmas party.

Yes you are right about that! Better hang onto it!Exactly what I was thinking
No. France CMs created a small memorial backstage that was about it.In light of the terrorist attacks in Paris and the fact that the now deceased mastermind of the plot is Moroccan, has there been any indications in Epcot of CMs reacting?
I'm really confused here. You can start to enter the party at 4 pm. How can you have not had gotten a band before 10pm? They hand bands out at the entrance to the park. Are we talking about the same thing? Sow thing just doesn't add up here. They closed the band lines at
The usual band places were changed to philharmonic but they weren't open before 6 and when we got thru eating at the beast castle they were closed at 8 so we had to try and get all the way to guest services. We finally made it past the first parade in frontier land (castle exit closed for parade) and made it around to main at and right in from of the fire station they were blocked off for the end of the parade.(it was cancelled and then started late) so it was 9:30 when we were let across the road there and then had to get in another 30 min guest services line. It was out the door. We finally had a band at 10pm. Yes it should be somewhere else but disney needs to know so they can keep the band stations up somewhere north of main st! So it took us 2 hours to get a band for a $$$ party. It should be news!

Disney guest relations does not read this board as a corporate strategy as far as I know. These boards are not owned or sponsored by Disney. If you have a complaint, there are appropriate outlets both in and out of the parks/property. Those band stations are kept open for at least 3 hours prior to the party. I don't see why they should keep them open any longer than that.disney needs to know so they can keep the band stations up somewhere north of main st

We came that morning. Just letting everyone know that if you don't get it before 8 at the locations you have to go back to the front and it is difficult to get there during parade. We arrived at lunch before they would give them out. And they normally are at the hub crossings so you can't miss it but not this yearI'm really confused here. They roped off the castle at the carousel and rain delayed the parade too so it was roped off for a long timeWe came that morning. This is my last reply on the subject. Left be our guest 8pm. Philharmonic empty. Ropes across carousel over to philharmonic. Headed west because city hall is on that side of the park. Parade started in frontier land a little after 8:15-30. We waited for it to get to the end and went around outside adventure land (liberty tree was already middle parade. Made right at caseys corner and got trapped at emporium and fire station til 9:30pm. Stood in line til 10. Should have taken other eastern route but still it was ridiculous that it took that long to be able get the band to ride rides. Just FYI. Ok no more posts about it take it as you wantThey roped off the castle at the carousel and rain delayed the parade too so it was roped off for a long time
the Merida path and liberty path were roped off at philharmonic and princess meet greet over to carousel . . .Philharmonic is a regular distribution station, so I'm not sure I understand what you are saying there. If for some reason they weren't giving out bands at 6, then why not visit one of the other 3 stations? Again, there is proof out there that bands were distributed on time at 4.
For the trip to guest services... What castle exit? The one through the castle? because that isn't open yet. The one that cuts through to Liberty Square? They close that path for fireworks, but never for the parade, and never that early before the fireworks start. And why not just go down the path by Merida that is 20 feet away? The parade doesn't run over there.
As for crossing the road. There are paths all down main street to cross over. There are at least 2 paths in town square to cross over that they don't close until the parade is rounding the corner. I have never worked PAC, but I have watched hundreds of parades and have never seen them hold crowds when there aren't floats. I have actually seen them let people cross through the parade since there is a delay between units as it comes around the corner.

You chose an odd thread to stage your melt over this... If you do feel the need to vent again, please choose elsewhere.I'm not saying they were not giving out bands at all I'm saying if you were on a ride or had a reservation and missed it you have a long hike ahead of you and no way to get there
