No and no. There will be major road improvements surrounding the parks though. Parking expansions are also coming.I don't understand the layout. Is World Drive moving, or are they installing a bridge we'd have to walk over to get to Star Wars Land?

CorrectThey are moving the entrance from World Dr / Osceola Parkway to Victory Ln by Osceola Parkway. New entrance, new toll booth. Its not a pedestrian bridge.

So can someone explain where Star Wars Land is going. I'm sorry but that diagram is beyond confusing for me... lol
No one knows for sure yet.
It was originally thought it would go to the west of Star Tours (DHS-2 area on the map), then it was thought it would go to the north of Star Tours (upper section of DHS-3). The most recent rumor is that it will go south of Star Tours (lower section of DHS-3).

I'd love to see a few pedestrian bridges and walkways connecting HS to AoA. I don't think you can easily walk between the two right now.
interesting I didn't catch that. I can't see how that is all just parking expansion.
That is what most people are sayingMy assumption would be that some of the existing parking lot is going to become part of the park.
Well Disney announced construction for Star Wars would begin in 2016 and it's obvious infrastructure work needs to happen before that. Toy story is also expected to open much sooner than Star Wars so that would mean construction has to start relatively soon.Im glad that they plan to be making ground soon. I thought they would be sitting on the announcement for another year before doing anything.
From what I have found on the permits and reading on wdwmagic.
Toy Story construction should start very soon. While work is going on for that they will prepare wetlands for future work.
The yellow section is currently forest area but will not be that very soon, where they will be clearing, grubbing, and filling existing wetlands, ditches, and storm water ponds.
The areas marked W12.22 and W12.2A will become parking areas.
This work permit is scheduled for start in January 2016 and completion in October 2018. This does not of course mean everything will be done by October 2018 only things specified in the permit.
Nothing in the permits mentions parking garages but doesn't rule them out either. Martin Smith says he was told two low level garages are coming but its not "gospel".

See post aboveOkay, can you or anyone else point me to where W12.22 and W12.2A are located on the map? I see several W12.XX-type of labels, but none seem to be .22 or .2A. Then again, the plans are rather blurry.
