Yes, we've watched it many times as part of our trip videos. They're may be higher quality versions out there, but they aren't from "our" trip.

(I admit I don't record them anymore. We have enough versions. If they come up with a new show I'll probably tape it again.)
I have done the same thing.

For the record, not bashing anyone who records Wishes. Doing so with the flash "ON", or in any other fashion that would ruin the experience for someone standing nearby, however, is a different story.

The problem with someone unknowledgeable enough to shoot Wishes with a flash is that they likely don't know how to turn the flash off.

An even greater problem for society and future generations of Wishes viewers is that they are likely to reproduce...

Great... $115 for a 32 oz bone-in steak and $53 for an 8 oz filet (or $106 per lb for anyone counting). I guess someone has to pay for all of this fancy construction...

For the record, I don't have a problem paying for a "good" steak, but this is just ridiculous.

USDA's published price for filet is $13.99 / lb. Average restaurants will charge ~four times that ($58/lb, or $29 for an 8 oz filet)... good restaurants a bit higher. But I think Disney is getting a tad bit greedy here...

Hey - you probably get a potato with the $106 steak!

I'll stick with Yatchsman's, thanks. Their prices aren't much better, but I can't imagine getting a better cut of beef anywhere else.

Agreed that for that kind of money, I'd probably be hitting up Shula's first (I suppose I can't say that for certain without trying it...).

The $32 beef tenderloin at The Wave is arguably one of the best steaks for the money on property. I probably shouldn't put that in print on the WWW for anyone to see, as one of the "suits" might catch on...

Not completely related to the discussion, but those have got to be the dumbest invention I've ever seen. Why not ask someone else to hold the camera? The whole point of selfies is to be spontaneous, and capture moments in a casual fashion. The selfie stick requires lots of work, and defeats the intention and spirit of selfies. Rant done.

I love selfie sticks..... because they make it easy for people to take pictures over the tops of construction walls. :)

Rumor has it selfie sticks have been banned from walt Disney world attractions. CMs are trained to look for them and tell guests they need to be stored away on rides. I for one am happy to hear this.

I would love to see them banned altogether - not just on attractions. And, I also prefer to refer to them by their other, more appropriate name - the "wand of narcissism".

I just returned from 5 days at WDW and took a selfie stick with me for the first time. I've always been frustrated that it is impossible to get a group picture at a character meal with each character. I probably used it less than 10 times during the whole trip....and never on a ride or attraction!!! I did use it for character meals so my friend and I could both be in the picture with the characters. It was much quicker and easier than taking separate pictures alone with each character. I'm shocked that people would think using it on a ride was either safe, or acceptable. I enjoyed being able to get pictures together with characters where there is no photo-pass photographer available, such as character meals. Hate me all you want, but they are helpful in some situations. I will never be one of those people who walk around with my camera up in the air 24/7 on a trip though.....that is unbelievably annoying!! I always buy memory maker and love it, except that they market it as if you would never need a camera on the trip at all. Why spend a ton of money to go to a character meal and not take pictures with each character?? I wish they had photopass photographers for every character at the the meals.

Huh. I never knew there was such a thing. Spirit of selfies... I'll have to look that one up.

Yeah, as opposed to the more serious casual photography. If you want your photos to turn out the best they can, don't take selfies. Good for SnapChat maybe, but not for actual "I want to remember this moment for a lifetime" pictures.
