DW had a work conference cancelled that was near the Denver Airport later this month. She is trying to convince them to send her to a similar conference just before thanksgiving at Coronado. So if everything works out, it'll be much more interesting.I'm hoping for a little bit of good from Corona cancellations. My conference that was in Orlando this year (cancelled for last week) is in Anaheim next year. Since I have a flight credit now and I have to go SOMEWHERE, I'm hoping that will help me convince my company to let me go to Anaheim next year. Plus, next year is my 10th wedding anniversary. If work approves me going, we're going to pay for my husband's flight and tack on some days either before or after to do Disney.
In what some might call a rumbling, Japan declared a state of emergency Tuesday.

does anyone know if this means Universal is extending their tickets beyond Dec. 31st? We were supposed to go on May 10 and won't be able to go again until next May. Not sure if I should try to get my tickets refunded through UT or if they'd be extended...
I did not check it yet today but I did previously and didn't find anything. I'll try again.Have you checked their webpage?

Universal Orlando said:Unexpired single-day tickets that have already been purchased will be valid on any day for 365 days from the purchase date. Unexpired multi-day tickets that have already been purchased will also be valid for first use on any day from 365 days from purchase – but, as always, must be used within seven days of first use. Florida Resident discounted ticket usage windows and blockout dates remain unchanged unless otherwise communicated. If you cannot travel during this time, you can apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward a new purchase.
That is what I found back a few weeks ago when I checked. Since I purchased mine on Black Friday for this May, and can't go until next May, it's not going to do me any good. Was really hoping that since the park is going to be closed that they would extend one year from date of ticket as opposed to one year from date of purchase...wishful thinking I guess. I know UT will refund me back 95% but I had gotten such a great rate on the tix that when I re-buy for next May it will probably be much more expensive. From their site:
NoDo we have an Artemis Fowl release date yet?
Call them, they’ve been working on a case by case basis with customers. They may help you out, they’ve been really good in general to people’s situations. That is what I found back a few weeks ago when I checked.
