News Round Up 2020

Does anyone know a good link for info about the Disney quick service dining plan? We had to move our trip from May to July. I know nothing about Disney Dining and ran into information overload, so can someone please help me. Sorry to ask here, but I know you guys have the knowledge of all things Disney.

Here is the info the DIS has put together related to the dining plan:
https://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-dining-plan.htm
I think that covers a lot of the info (there are links to the specific plans and then to what restaurants accept the plan) ... is there anything specific you are looking for?

They gave us the Quick Service Plan and since we have never had a food plan, I am just trying to figure out the simple stuff. For example if you order a burger do you have to pay for the fries, since only the burger is an entree. That is why I need a forum, so I can ask simple questions to people who know answers.

You get one entree and one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). For the entree item you would get what is listed on the menu, so for example, at Backlit Express the entree listing for the burger says served with your choice of fries or carrot sticks, so that would be included with your credit

  • 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger - 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger on a Kaiser Roll served with Carrot Sticks or French Fries

Just a heads up, anybody still holding out hope (for now anyway) for their summer trips, check your flights, they're still getting cheaper. Between the 3 changes I've made to what was once a May trip and is now a tentative June trip, we're up to $148 credit per person in travel funds from Southwest.
And a further heads up, SW cut some of their schedule. For my usual airport (Dulles outside of DC) all morning flights/connections in the morning are gone! Nothing until 3PM that gets you in at 9PM ! UGH

Our usual flight got cancelled too. We usually take the southwest non-stop that leaves around 6 am. Now we are on a later flight with a connection. :(. Oh well.
