News Round Up 2020

UT or Universal?

I have DLR tickets from UT, I know they'll refund, but I'd really like to just exchange them for 2020 tickets, then UT gets to keep my money and I can go next year.
UPDATE: I emailed Undercover Tourist, cancelled my hotel reservations made through them for full refund since I had until May 4 to cancel. I was told that I can apply the cost of my Universal ticket to new tickets next year at the park or get 95% refund from UT. I haven't decided what to do yet about the Universal tix. I got such a great rate from UT, not sure if Universal will count them as what I actually paid or what I should have paid for them when crediting it towards the new tickets which undoubtedly will be more expensive.

I think you really need to be an amusement park person to get it, but I really enjoyed Indiana Beach.
The smaller and older parks can have a level of charm not found in the more polished parks. Places like Indiana Beach and Knoebels are generally considered can’t miss parks among enthusiasts because they feel unique, and they show you don’t need massive funding to have world class attractions. I was really looking forward to finally making it to Indiana Beach this year, when the news broke it really made me regret not detouring to it last season.

I’m enjoying a lot of these online performances. It’s giving me a chance to see a bunch of the entertainment options which I never experienced or didn’t have time to do on my trips.

I hope things like this continue even after we return to "normal" - not as frequently or anything but I think this has provided a different way for performers to reach their audience/make a new one

Don't go bashing Knoebels, calling it unpolished ;). Seriously, my favorite park. I wouldn't trade a week at WDW for a week at Knoebels, but I would trade a day there versus a day at any other park in the country. Amazing what you can do with a bunch of salvaged rides.

There are few ride pairings I’d take over Phoenix and Twister. I’ll always make sure to stop there on my way to Hershey.

We really enjoy Knoebels too. It has alot of charm and really good food. Plus it is a good park for us since you don't pay admission to get in since DH is not a big ride fan. We have been there a few times. We brought DS when he was 4 almost 5 years old in the summer to try his first big boy roller coaster....Phoenix. It was a test before we went to Disney in October....to see if he could handle a real roller coaster. Needless to say he loved it!
