News Round Up 2020

UK visitors could buy 14 day tickets. The strange piece is the 7 day ticket. That’s a fairly popular ticket here in the US. Will those go away here too?

We buy 7 days minimum, usually more. I wonder how restricted APs are going to be :( I already have two trips planned next year. Luckily, we are UO AP holders too. We might end up spending more time there if we can't get into the parks.

We were thinking of going for the actual 50th...but are now leaning against doing so. There is too much uncertainty nowadays - and I can imagine if they still have restrictions then it will be almost impossible to get in past the bloggers and other Disney fanatics. Think we will stick with our usual late October/early November dates.

Im curious as to if Disney is going to go back to selling APs at all durring this global crisis for any non florida residents

The masks that are on Shop Disney are now at Disney Springs. You can buy a single for $6 or you can pick 4 for $20. So you can pick Baby Yoda, Hulk, Stitch and Forky if you wanted to mix and match styles.

There are a few new masks too. There is a rainbow mask, a goofy mouth mask and it looks like a pink Minnie mask. (It's hard to tell from the videos I've seen of it) The only smalls that they had on the menu were the Goofy and the Rainbow masks. Not all designs on Shop Disney are currently available.

Hopefully these things will be everywhere when the parks open and hopefully they keep making new styles.

Nice so you can buy them in DS, but those of us that purchased them a month and a half ago are still left waiting.

It was advertised pretty strongly that they wouldn't ship until the end of June. I feel like it makes sense that their priority was getting stock to a place were people might need it immediately and that it would potentially impact Disney's resorts.

I'm waiting on four 4-packs that I purchased for myself, so I feel you. They are opening up the DVC resorts on Monday, so they need something to sell to people who are staying at the resorts.

However, maybe it also can be seen as a good thing because it means that they finally got them in. ShopDisney isn't Amazon, so it's a whole lot harder for them to fulfill a bunch of individual orders than it is to send some some boxes to Orlando.

I have a hunch AP’s are a total tire fire right now. Called to ask about a refund for the closure and was told they haven’t made any decisions about monetary refunds, but I could add my name to a list that is interested in one.

Background: Turns out we didn’t need AP’s this year with our July trip being cancelled (bummer, oh well). Weighing the renewal cost vs. refund for our next trip and how many we’d get during the AP year, so want to see a $ total before saying yes.

They never stopped WDW AP sales, just DLR
I tried purchasing one a couple weeks ago and after the website didn't advance to the next page after entering my payment information (the "wheel" just spun for 20 minutes), I chatted with a cast member who told me they weren't selling any tickets, including APs at the time.
