Man, I've been getting excited for a lot lately. What's going on?

I've been looking forward to this a while. On one hand, I'm glad they are so dedicated to the property as to hire a cast of names to voice it.
On the other hand, I really just want these characters to sound like they used to.
I'll be waiting with an open mind for the premiere.

Ahhhh, I'm a few short of that so I still haven't found its charm. I know some people swear by that show, but I just don't get the love.

I'm with you. It's boring to me. I'm glad so many people love it, but it's just not something I care to see unless it's the holiday version, and even then I only watch for the last 20 seconds when it seems like a warehouse full of fireworks has exploded and I'm pretty sure we are all going to die. That's how I felt the first time I saw it anyway and it was awesome. The rest...meh.

They need to have zip pulls for the hanging puck version...I have one for work for my badge card that has an alligator clip to clip to my pocket...works fantastically for RFID scan tech...and if they made a Disney one, I'd buy it and use it at work too

Oh boy... That is quite interesting. What do you think it's about?

Guardians is the least far along, so I'm hoping it's that.

Pandora is WAAAAAAAY far along. Years and years. It may not have been the best decision but I can't imagine going back on something that is THAT far along.

Rivers of Light would be the most likely thing he is taking about I think. That is far enough along where it would look like a crazy money sink if they didn't go through with it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far Guardians is just the facade?

It definitely seemed to me to be for Rivers of Light which is the things that has had issues, continues to have some - to me gives credence to the idea of them putting out something that isn't the original vision as they can't get things to work

I can't imagine it is for all of pandora - they can't just not open that at this point. Unless it is a specific part of pandora - like if the interactive bioluminecent plants aren't working properly or something (just an example)

My guess is RoL or Guardians unless there is something else we don't know about. Guardians is just the facade currently but the one source I saw said that executives feel they are too far into it and there was point where people within Disney questioned if they should do the guardians overlay or not.

Whatever this is about, certainly isn't encouraging...

It's not Pandora. He talks about it as if he was about to pull out from a project and Pandora is waaay beyond that point. He's probably talking about Rivers of Light. Although Guardians was a very controversial decision, it's still part of a much bigger plan for a Marvel land. Unless he believes he was miscast for Marvel, I don't see why he'd regret that.

You guys need to actually go and read Joe Rohde's Instagram account. He posted this as one in a "Series of essays for designers and directors, regarding classic failures of logic". They are actually pretty good reading, but I think that once you look at the full body, it's hard to argue that he is talking about a specific project here. When asked in that post if it applies to Rivers of Light, he writes:

Nothing particular, just admonition to be aware of for clear thinking

He also has a good one that goes off on the concept of "For a Limited Time Only!" that just because something is limited alone does not make it worth while. As I said, a really good read.
