News Round Up 2016

Long time lurker so first off thanks for the board and all of the great info! The reason I decided to reply was my now wife and I went on our first date 15 years ago today to Monsters Inc. I guess we have been Disney people ever since.

Monsters Inc. was also the first movie my husband and I saw together. But we were on a double date with other people :rolleyes1
For the birds has always been my absolute favorite Pixar short (played with Monster Inc. that night). Seeing it in Epcot in our last trip was really fun - can't believe it's been 15 years!

He seems to be more of a superhero for adults, anyway. The movie seems darker and more grown up than the others, at least from the previews.

My 8 year old son literally sat with his mouth open the first time he saw the preview for Dr. Strange in the theater and has been asking over and over (and over) when we will be going to see it. But I agree there doesn't seem to be the buzz among his friends like there was for the Avengers movies.

Moana presale tickets went on sale today. At least they did for the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, so I'm assuming all theaters are allowed to pre sell now. Just about to get my seats :)

Got the email today for our Alamo Drafthouse today, but we will be at Disney when it opens, but hitting up Dr Strange there tomorrow. Best movie theater around. NO talking and texting and beer served to you at your seat! I'm spoiled now and dont want to go anywhere else.
