Tomorrowland has a new area manager or boss which is why we are seeing the subtle upgrades/changes. The CoP paint job and sign, rock painting, and more to come.

Hopefully he works on cleaning Space Mountain - in the "lights on" video recently posted you can clearly hear Pete say "It's filthy!"

Happy Birthday to the place most of us fell in love with The Magic Kingdom! As well as Epcot, The Poly, Contemporary, and Ft. Wilderness.

I'm always open to movies/shows that tie into the parks. I hope this show takes off an replaces Once Upon A Time. Honestly that show is just becoming a chore to watch.

We watched about half of the first season and decided it wasn't for us...I'm amazed it's still on. But I guess it does have a pretty big following.

Kalogridis mentioned that they have big things coming between now and their golden anniversary in 2021 including Pandora in 2017, and Star Wars and toy story at DHS. He also mentioned they have more in store they haven't announced yet. One thing I do like that he does is that he said "we cast members" as if he's part of it rather then saying something to the extent of him being better than them.

I think Disney sees it as a bit of a marketing tool too - why they had Anna and Elsa in it, etc .... like a weekly reminder of Disney fairy tale stuff

Same way I think they like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. As a weekly reminder of the Marvel Universe

Is that the first time they mentioned anything in relation to a date Star Wars Land would be open? Obviously very vague but even saying "it will be done by 2021 is more than we have gotten before, right?

Yes that's more than they have said before and I'd hope it's done before 2021.

The Marvel name is now being used at the the superhero store at Disney Springs. Previously the Marvel name could not be used on Disney property at all but something has obviously changed. This will be interesting to watch.

I survived the monster line for 45th merch this morning and they applied my AP discount, but it showed up as DVC on the receipt... so I think so?

After watching this, I am determined to make it to the 50th party! Not just sometime during the 50th year, but the actual anniversary celebration date.
