First Mike Tirico now Skip Bayless, ESPN loses another tv personality

Yeah I wasn't a Bayless fan either. Tirico wasn't bad though. At least Disney doesn't have to pay those two big salaries anymore.

But seriously, that's awesome. With their 2 hour lines for pretty much everything, Tokyo really needs this capacity increase.

Shanghai won't impact Tokyo much I think. Tokyo is theme park crazy those two Tokyo parks are some of the best in the world and see attendance on par with MK and Disneyland. One thing that is hurting Tokyo right now is the upcoming Olympic Games. Construction costs are going through the roof which is likely why expansion plans were scaled back.

A permit was filed today for show scene installation for avatar. The description uses the words Avatar E-ticket so internally Disney is calling this an e ticket attraction. Also this new permit is being done by a different contractor than the previous show scene permits show. Typically one contractor does all show scene installation.

I wonder if it will still be as empty when they sell all the available tickets? Or did they end up giving away all the tickets last time?

We were there the first day...wish they would have found us for some of those 100% discount tickets.

We had a set of tickets for the first free one and unfortunately ended up not using them. I don't know why my daughter's weren't into going to the Mk until 1 and then getting up at 3 to do a 1/2 marathon?

With the Tokyo talk going around an interesting point was brought up on wdwmagic. Tokyo Disneyland is in fact the most attended Disney theme park in the world. The biggest reason as to why Magic Kingdom is always a top the list is because Disney added the Halloween and Christmas parties to the attendance numbers. Those added numbers give MK that edge but if you go on actual amounts of people going into the park on a daily basis Tokyo wins.
