Hi can anyone help me with a few things. im at the very earlys stages of planning, but am hoping to come over to orlando for my wedding (im from Liverpool, UK) early 2010. We are hoping to bring around 15-18 guests and will be staying for our honeymoon.

I dont think we can afford a proper disney wedding, so after looking i think i have decided on a beach wedding - but was hoping to have the reception in disney. i have seen some people talk about private rooms, like at narcoossee's, does anyone know if they would be ok for our party size and any idea of charges? if not i do quite like the look of Narcoossee's for dinner, does anyone know if you can keep your dress on when sitting in the restaraunt and I have seen some centrepeices, does anyone know if these can be ordered if not having a disney wedding package?

Thanks for any help

Well......the girls on this board are a tremendous help! Thru Disboards I have learned that nearly all of the restaurants will accomodate groups like yours. They will often print you special menus etc. There are also so many options for "all you care to eat" and "buffet" style meals that will insure that your guests are taken care of well ;) Just don't make the mistake I did and have your wedding at 10 am when breakfast is ending and lunch won't be starting yet! If I could change things around I would have had a late afternoon or evening ceremony. There are just so few lunch options that I think you're better off at Dinner time. Just my 2 cents. Although.....One bride here had an afternoon ceremony and a tea between the ceremony and Dinner. I thought that was THE BEST idea! So, unique and Sooooooo Disney! Best wishes!!!!

Hi there!

You should definately look into a Swan/Dolphin ceremony. It's MUCH cheaper than going through Disney directly and you are basically on WDW property. We would have chosen that option, except I really want the Magic Kingdom photo shoot (can only get it with a WDW wedding).

Also, yes you are allowed to wear your dress at any restaurant that is not located in a theme park (resort restaurants, DTD, BW, etc..)

Have fun with your planning!! :goodvibes
