Awesome. The little one is for travel.. Its great if you are going to be taking baby lots of places.... Grandmas house and such, but for home, a full sized one is best! Plugging in is great!! I had a swing that you had to wind up with my first. I HATED that thing. As soon as he would fall asleep, and I would start to doze.. the darn thing would stop, and he would start to cry.

Oh man I can't imagine... that would stink! Wind up? Eek!

I was thrilled.. as I could be while in a ton of pain... but the price is definitely right. I hadn't looked into them at all yet, just remembered what you all had said here.
I figured if I kept my receipt, I could always take it back if it looked like a bad swing after I researched.

Reviews seem good, though.
I love getting stuff for cheap!


I want to know what I did to get this heartburn.
Lucas has some explaining to do when he pops out.

Maybe you have a really hairy baby! I hear that is supposed to give you heartburn. I dont know if it does or not.. I have bald babies.

Read a couple of things online..don't know if they will work or not, but it's worth a shot.

drink a teaspoon of vinegar
or
eat a banana
or
eat a teaspoon of mustard

Hi everyone, I just wanted to jumo in as I just got a BFP two days ago. I am still in a bit of shock as I just went off the pill last month so this is my first month off. Anyway, my DR appointment is not until 8 weeks which is Feb 20th. So according to the charts online - I am due October 2nd. It is baby #2. My other child will be 5 next month.

All it took was a lengthy face-to-face with my wonderful toilet.
Which of course had to happen about 3 minutes after DH walked out the door.

Oh well.
I can sit up and not cry now, all is well!

So I have an appt tomorrow morning with a new practice. One that the receptionist said did *not* have the same sort of rules that *all* multiples go c/s.

I mean I recognize that twins may still end up c/s, but that is a call to be made at that time, not now. I had a very traumatic birth experience with my son, I was hoping to have a non-traumatic one this go-round. I want my shot at the birth I want, even if it's only a slim shot.

I've got to have the self confidence to fire any providers that I don't like or don't inspire me confidence. So as long as I like this new practice (that comes highly recomended) -- I'll be calling to cancel with the other.

MUCH better. Trying to decide what I want to attempt to eat.
Salad should be safe, right? I'm petrified to try anything.. I haven't eaten since 8am and I know thats not good.

I know the italian beef w/pepperochini peppers I made for dinner won't go. well But it smells good!


...anyone noticed there have been TWO threads on the CB today with people announcing their news? I told one about our thread.

Congratulations, Dannysmom, on the twins! I think thats awesome (of course I can say that because I am only having one, but if I was having twins I would probably freak out for a little while too!)

Piecey, I am glad your heartburn has gone away. (I thought hairy babies gave you hiccups though.) I didn't have any heartburn with Madeline but boy did she get the hiccups a lot! It was always entertaining to show my friends my baby bump jumping when she had them! Oh and good job on finding the swing! The rainforest collection is too cute!

I went by another Target today to scope out my sit and stand stroller and they had the deluxe one on clearance for the same price as the other one so I am hoping that Dh and I can make it to that Target before I have to be at my Level II.

I took dd to the Dr. today b/c she woke up this am with a croupy cough-I didn't want it to develop into anything more. Well, the dr found she has a double ear infection, this after just getting the okay after one about a week ago! UGH!

So what is everyones consensus on what sex the baby is if you are carrying low? Just interested to see if what the theories are come out being correct on Monday.

My Drs office called this afternoon.. while I was napping!! I FAILED my GD testing! I knew I would... Oh well. I go in for the 3 hour test on Monday. OH BOY! I barely kept down that stupid drink in the first place!

And I so know about the cold! I was in DC at the beginning of Dec. and caught a cold while I was up there-I hate not being able to take anything but it was doubly worse being away from home! But I now swear by Zicam, because the next day I was 95% better!

Staley-I hate the goop test! And I hate you failed it. What the does the extra 3 hrs entail? I didn't fail my first one so I am unfamiliar with what they do next.

So exciting. He had his hand on my tummy when I felt crappy and he goes "Woah, was that him?" And I'd definitely felt him move so I asked him where he felt it and sure enough... he can feel him now, too!

Ugh... its just horrid. I cant have anything to eat after midnight, and I go to the office at 9 for blood draw number one, then I drink the crap. After an hour, I have blood draw number two. Another hour, number three... and another hour later, blood draw four. CANT WAIT! I am going to be so HUNGRY!!

Awwww... That is such a sweet time! My babies have always hid when daddy tries to check them out. He is convinced they hate him.
