That's so great!

I've gotten a few things so far (clothes/bibs my nephew grew out of, pack n play, Baby Bjorn, swing, a couple of toys), some of this is secondhand, which is still awesome. We have our shower Saturday, but it's good to know that I already have some things ready, especially some clothing. I think we'll be able to buy our stroller with credit card reward points!

staley - that is AMAZING! You and your family are so very blessed to appreciate and help each other!!
we have "everything" from the other girls... but of course I am eyeing up all the baby stuff b/c it is SO MUCH BETTER than it was 6 1/2 years ago!! I have borowed a nicer swing, bouncy and bassinet as I cannot pull the trigger since this is my last baby!
I think I am going to splurge on the Maclaren version of a snap-n-go stroller. I bought one for my SIL when she had her first and it was GREAT! You just snap the baby seat into this lightweight stroller frame and GO. It takes up like no room at all in the car. I figure it'll be worth its weight in gold when we go to WDW world in April.
Still think I am certifiable that I have agreed to do this w/ a 2 month old, 4 year old and 6 year old. And the wonderfully awesome godparents of my husband who were coming along to help may now have to stay home for an unexpected medical issue!!!

Ok, so why does the last month have to be so uncomfortable. I am in constant discomfort, either cramping, contractions, or feeling like my belly is ripping apart. If this baby is late, I'm going to be very upset!

Wow staley, that's awesome!!

So DH called me today to tell me that his teacher friend's wife is pregnant! They just bought a house right in our neighborhood and they are really cool people! They already have 2 small children, so it's going to be awesome to have someone so close who has some recent experience.

Now, hopefully our other friends will make it happen. I reached out to her and said that if she needs anything to ask and that I can be whatever she needs me to be--just someone to talk to or ask questions (I did a LOT of research about getting preggers). She is super excited--seems like she needed someone she could talk to who wasn't a relative adding more pressure.

So now I've got 2 pregnant friends! Yay! (Besides all of you great people too! )

Thanks guys!! Im still shocked over the whole thing! My husband read the e-mail I sent my aunt thanking her for the car seats, and strollers.. and he said that he could hear me bawling through what I wrote.

We should have them friday, and I am so excited to put them together!

I had gotten rid of everything baby I had. We tried for a year to get pregnant, and then I did.. and miscarried. The doctor basically told me that it would be impossible for me to GET pregnant, much less carry a pregnancy again.. without help. We decided that wasnt a route we were willing to go, since we already had 2 great kids... So we donated everything to charity. Imagine our SURPRISE when just a few months later I was not only PREGNANT... But pregnant with twins! I had joined the Y and was working out... I guess loosing some weight really got those eggs flowing!

Oh I SO feel for you. Everytime I walk I feel like babies are just going to come shooting out of my belly button. I tried to make dinner last night, and I got so dizzy my husband had to bring me a chair to sit in. I feel like a total invalid..

that standing up thing is killing me --- and the two story house we live in!
DH brought me a STOOL to keep next to the stove so I can still cook!!!! Seems kinda caveman, but is actually sweet b/c it is one of the things I like to do!
Had an U/s this morning and the placenta is out of the way so we are all set for a natural delivery!!!
The baby is soooooooooooooooooo sweet. She kept trying to cover her face but you can see she has big eyes and HUGE huge cheeks w/ a tiny little button nose. Her oldest sister had those cheeks, and middle sister has the eyes so she is great blend of all!!
I refused an exam b/c DH is traveling this week and I DONT want them to get things moving in there...then the tech says "how far you dilated?????" in this funny voice. When i told her i dont know and I need to wait on this she laughed at me. Said Tessa is way way way way way down there and ready to go and she would bet money I am dilated ...

i understand the whole last month thing. no place is comfy.
i went to chiropractor saturday , it helped a little.

And I also found out I was about a week off with my projected due date. I was never positive about it in the first place. So my new due date is August 2nd and I am ten weeks and one day along. Time seems to be moving by so slowly but I know that pretty soon I'll be saying it's going by too fast

How are you feeling?

I had my first ultrasound at about 5 weeks, so there wasn't much to see. I can't wait for the next one. Having something like that to look forward to helps make the time go a bit faster I think.

Me too. I noticed it repeated a day last week. I should be 21 weeks today I thought. Not sure what is going on.

I noticed the same thing! I always go to a new week on Mondays. Hmmm.

Another weird thing is have the time when I go on my laptop, I can't see the ticker, but on the desktop, I always can. I could see if it was all the time on the laptop, but sometimes I do see it. Weird...

I'm feeling a bit better. Not getting as much sickness which is a good sign I think. Certain things still make my stomach turn but I'm hoping that once I get past the three month mark it'll settle down a bit.

That's good! My symptoms are all over the place. Some days, I'm good just about the whole day and sometimes the evenings are really hard. Sometimes eating big meals helps, sometimes its a really bad idea!

Mondays have been really, really rough on me for some reason... At least I'm not super crabby anymore (unless I'm feeling really bad).

Today was rough because I had to go back to work for the 1st time in 2 wks

But I've been feeling better for about a week now. I even went out to eat with my coworkers for lunch (today was a teacher workday-no students). We had Mexican-I couldn't eat it all. I still get full really quickly. I brought half of it back to school with me for lunch tomorrow. But I haven't been sick in several days!
