Wow. Yeah, I'll skip that one.
You definitely want to skip it. I didn't and I should have. (My little one was sucking its thumb at the 13 week u/s, and I really shouldn't have read that.)

Ok, let's get off that ultra sad topic.
Ok, my cute ultrasound story. Our baby was waving it's thumb and fore finger in the air at the ultrasound and the tech said looked like she was dancing. I laughed and told DH that she looked like DS when he dances to his favorite Wiggles song "one finger one thumb keep moving!" I think it was a cute sign.![]()
My ultrasound isn't until the end of next month. I'll be 22 weeks. I want it now!!!

I'm short and round (and ds11 got my build) but dd9 is long and very flexible. When I saw my little one at 23 weeks playing with her foot I only thought of dd9! Her legs are already measuring long for her age (I'm 5'2" by the way), so maybe she will be built like her big sister!
They are the same thing as far as I know. My paperwork from the dr's office had both (one was in parentheses next to the other one).
My funny u/s story is from my son's (he is now almost 9). Once we saw he was officially a "him" the tech tried to get a picture of his boy parts. Problem was, he wouldn't let go of himself down there long enough for her to do that. Eventually he did and I got my proof. (He was the first boy in a couple of generations and I knew no one would believe me otherwise.) Can't wait 'till he's dating and I can tell that story (or at least threaten it) to his little girlfriends. Hee! Hee!

Oh, wow! That's a great story, too bad you didn't get it on video!![]()
No kidding! And how cool (to me) that my embarrassing story was my 1,000 post on the DIS. I never thought I would get to 1,000. I guess I'm not chatty enough. Except here-sorry.
Thats how mine worked too. I just drank the stuff and went in for the blood draw. But I went to the Dr.s office, they do draws there.I didn't even have to make an appointment with mine. I was shocked!
She said, nope- just walk in and tell them you're on a timed test and tell them when to draw your blood.
Okay! I plan to show up maybe 20 minutes before they need to draw it to fill out paperwork and stuff. Woohoo.
I have had two ultrasounds already to determine the date, the first one was too early at 5 weeks and then I waited anxiously for two weeks and went back and found out I was 7 weeks and everything was going well. I am due September 7th. It is a great feeling now that we are almost to the 12 weeks and heard the heartbeat. We miscarried our last so I have been a wreck this time... very hard to enjoy being pregnant.
I know how you feel, I have had two miscarriages, and one of them was just a few months before this pregnancy. I just started to relax after my last apt. Ok, let's get off that ultra sad topic.

Oh no problem! After the last couple of weeks I've had, a nosebleed is welcome relief! Didn't mean to complain, I'm just upset about the jeans! lol
Anyone find any nice early pregnancy jeans anywhere? My Old Navy doesn't carry the maternity stuff and I'd really rather try them on first.
All the ones people have lent/given to me are for later stages...
